Also I'm assuming hes using some formula to calculate the payout amounts. Given these 47 iterations can anyone figure out what the payout is for the nth round?

Those are all negative EV. Funny how just round 9 is +EV. The curve looks exponential, but I can't fit it exactly to exp(c(x-1)).
