is the prob of not flopping a set with a pocket pair 46 times in a row (6/7.5)^45? obv I m way off here.

That should be (1-(1/8.5))^46 ~ e^-(46/8.5) ~ 0.4%.

That assumes that you decided to keep track at a particular time, and observed only 46 hands after that where you had a pair. If you play for a long time, it is much more likely that you will be able to find a streak at some point.
