Re: aces

Closer to 1 in 25 I think (for at least 1 player of 9 to get AA).

1 - (1 - 1/221)^9 = 4%

Re: aces

The probability is 9(1/221)-C(9,2)(1/221)(1/C(50,2)) ~ 0.04059100563 or about once every 24.63599964 times.

This is correct in real life. If, however, you are playing on randomstars, it's closer to once every 14.774600123 times and lower still if you are playing a low stakes rebuy tournament.

I get once every 14.774600127 times. One of us has butchered the math pretty badly and I'm thinking it's you.

That may be correct for kings. This thread, however, is about aces.

Re: aces

Do people just get angry at poker and scroll down to the probability forum, to ask the experts and make themselves feel betteR?
