Flop comes Q83r. He reaches for chips, then decides to check.
My question: Is this always a tell of weakness, or could he do this and just remember "jesus, I could trap here, I'm first to act"?
100% weakness a lot of old limit players do this almost every hand they will motion a call before you act even though they want a check from you so they can check behind now they will usually call, but theyre hoping to get a free card by holding chips in their hand as if they will auto call its another one of those tilting obvious tells that makes you want to break their hand lol
idk why i get so mad at things like that Its equivalent to a flagrant foul in my eyes theres just no place for it,,,, I think it was one of those things taught in the 70s and was probably the norm then I just hate when players think they are being clever with some cowardice tactic especially at low buy in games,, angel shooting at 2-4 limit and $50 daily honestly wtf
