Re: "Be careful" - could I have gotten more value on the river?

Okay, it has been half a year. You think that has been enough time to reveal the ending?

For those advocating a half pot bet, do you fold if he shoves over you?

The two times I've heard it, both people who said it have had nearly the nuts.

When they have nearly the nuts and you have the nuts, that's what we dream of.

I think this is pretty accurate, and how I'd personally capitalize would be to make a callable bet that's going to ensure the tell is there next time.

Re: "Be careful" - could I have gotten more value on the river?

I understand the OP as meaning there were two hearts on the flop, the turn was a King and there were still 2 hearts, then hearts missed on the Ace river.

Other posters seem to think the flush came in and we could be behind. Who is right?

This villain... usually indicates medium strength as people said.

A wild player (e.g. indifferent to money) ... usually indicates they believe they have the best hand
