Books? Woo nows hau two reed ore right?

I don't think I've ever read a poker book I didn't get 'something' out of. The biggest issue with book readers is not knowing how to apply it to their game or stake or 'not' applying something that is irrelevant or lost on their opponents.

Poker is a 'it depends' game, but more importantly to me it's putting myself into spots that I can act comfortably in so my opponent doesn't pick up on my actions as weak or uncertain. That's why getting little bits and pieces of how others think is important to developing what you are comfortable doing in your game.

Doing exactly what a book tells you, even Super System, should get you into trouble since there are plenty of other players out there who have methods of counteracting what you are trying to 'pull off'. GL

I dont do that really, but i know the reason now why it happened. Because i was trying to grasp the information in the book, thus it takes time implying some things here and there. It takes time. Thus ur game is under fix mode, like a car in the garage, u cant drive with a car thats in the process of being worked on.

I do think though that once i read some of the Doyles, i now understand where the massive amounts of donkeys come from.
