Do you do stacks of 100? 200?

Do you do a single line of chips going towards the middle of the table, or a line along the rail?

Do you pyramid?

Personally, I do a single line of 100s going out from the rail. This forms a wall so I can peel off my cards with 1 hand.

I will do a 3/2/1 pyramid once i get to 600, then a 4/3/2/1 pyramid if I'm fortunate to get to over 1k.

It kind of tilts me a little when someone has:
A) stacks of 50
B) stacks of different heights

Stacks of 10 red chips per stack. And I always make sure to count out bets two chips ($10) at a time.

I like to leave one dirty stack in the front. It drives the nits at the table crazy.

I don't think I could make a stack of 100 chips. 200 sounds impossible. I usually just keep them in stacks of 20 chips.

5 chips high, but on their edges. I'm amazing. I can also lick my elbows.

I think he's talking about red chips. 20 chips = stack of $100.

Usually by passing them to the person who stacked me.

I stack my chips in different heights, usually about 30 chips, but I don't count them to see how much each stack is. I do this to tilt people (sorry nothing personal).

I usually push my chips into the middle then let another player stack them.

I keep the stacks short, because , most of the time , I don't have very many chips. I will constantly knock over stack any larger than 10 also.

LHE: 5 stacks of 20 chips to 10 stacks of 20 (triangle) to 10 stacks of 30 to 17-18 stacks of 30 and then I color up.

NL: stacks of 20 chips to 10 stacks (triangle) and then I color up.

Quickly and easily.

One on top of the other. Repeat.

In stacks of 20, like basically everyone. Messy stacks in others don't bother me.

Sometimes I'll dirty my own stack to put ME on tilt.

Buy in for 3 racks at LHE.
7 stacks of 40 chips arranged in a circle/hexagon, with the extra half-stack sitting on the right.
If I'm up a rack or more and in the main game (not the must-move), I switch to stacks of 50 chips.

Usually 30 - 40 chips high depending on the game, most of the time left to right. If/when I get to the 4th full stack of 40 of the lowest chip value ($5's and up, keep the singles for tips obvi), I'll usually start coloring up a stack of 40 chips at a time.

If I take a bad beat in a large pot, I'll usually knock all of my chips into just a big pile in front of me to give the image of being on tilt. Works surprisingly well into getting people to call or raise light.

Vertically.

I usually don't have enough to worry about how high to make the piles.

Random heights but always between ~20-60 reds high. I used to always be counting my chips and and keeping track of how ahead/behind I was (bad habit). This broke my habit. Also depends on the poker room and how good their chips stack

Stacks of 20, with partial stacks on top. I don't build a second level of stacks until I have a triangle of 10 stacks on the bottom. I'll make change for other players as needed but I don't ask for a color up unless it gets really ridiculous. What goes up must come down

If I am eating while playing, I'll make my stacks into a wall perpendicular to the rail. Then I can use one hand to eat and the other to check my cards and handle chips, and not worry about my neighbor seeing my cards when I check with one hand. After checking the cards I put them in front of my stack so they're not hidden.

I don't like having a tall stack because it's easy to knock over. And if it falls over, you may not get all your chips back.

stacks of 20 till i have over 800 and then 40 high and any blacks/greens on top.

I tend to do this, but I also sometime like to have my stacks all random. I call it the "city skyline" look, where it just looks like a city of random skyscrapers. This is especially fun if I am running hot and drinking, it's an easy way to look more drunk and sometimes get more action.
