very player dependent imo. people think slightly differently when they are high. so maybe the guy gets particularly optimistic and is prone to making hero calls. maybe he just doesnt engage in confrontation so he let goes ev+ moves. maybe he gets paranoid and goes back to hero calling! you will have to wait and see

i played at a home game the guy in question was snorting ketamine in the bathroom and tried to bluff me but i called with mid pair

I become less aggressive and less inclined to try to steal the smaller pots. I also tend to call a lot more loosely.
