Complaining about a raise mid hand Complaining about a raise mid hand

I was in a hand recently where an opponent of openly complained about my raise size mid hand. I was UTG, raised the 500 BB to 2000 with A/K of spades. From middle position he immediately starts complaining about how everyone keeps over-raising with players still acting in front of him.

What does this complaining mean? I figured that it mean the had a marginal hand that he was mad I was pushing him out of. If he had a monster my raise would be music to his ears, and if he had trash he would just fold anyway.

No it's not the wrong forum. I am specifically asking about what a player who starts to vocally complain about a raise is giving off. Not about strategy.

and no. Other than poker I have not played anything in a casino in my life. Not into that. Good observation though I suppose

Oh well he's complaining that he didn't get AA against you and stack up all kinds of chips. He's a bit of a douche.

Allin AA, fold rest shows a good profit.
