I want to be clear that I am not a fan of Doug Polk and I will never be due to a host of wide-ranging issues. The manner Doug goes about throwing shade at other poker players for his personal gain is wrong. Constant attacks on Poker Hall-of-Famer Daniel Negreanu is uncalled for. And I am just scratching the surface as I could go on.. But that's for another time and it is not the reason I created this thread.

I realize Doug is monetizing his courses with his Upswing poker brand so I think it's worth mentioning that I came across a streamer on Twitch who is streaming these videos for free. I know Polk does a ton of gimmicky promotional things which are lame, but I do think streaming his paid courses to others for free is wrong. I would never personally pay for his strategy videos, but I do know he probably puts a lot of hard work into them.

If I really detested Doug I could let this bandit continue with this sleazy tactic without notifying Polk. I actually respect what Doug is trying to do for poker, my only issue is with Doug as a person. The cocky showboating egocentric persona is cringeworthy. Constantly demeaning and taking potshots at other respected Poker players is asinine.

Doug, if you read this I'm not doing this as goodwill for you. I'm doing this because it's the right thing to do, so don't think I am a fan or like you all of a sudden.
