I think most people would only want mucked cards being seen by people they are actually competing against, being on a table vs a twitch streamer seems kind of a negative cos of the edge you are losing to hundreds of randoms.

Tuned in for an hour today... Punting stacks and horrific decisions all over the place... Truly shocking how bad he is

I've watched Jamie 2 days ago for the first time. He wasn't winning and was dealing with it really bad with all sorts of tilt. And I watched for hours

What you need to understand is being a streamer is as much of a performance as being good at poker, and he has a lot of respect from me in terms of how he runs his stream, and we definitely need more people like him in the community catering for twitch/YouTube crowd.

That one time I tuned in basically told me he will never be a top MTTer (simply because of mindset) but it sure as hell was entertaining and you can't deny he's the highest tier poker streamer. All he needs to be is keep being an okay player and it's great to have him

I'm surprised you can still muster shock given your opinion of the man. Why don't you post some hand histories and highlight the mistakes?

Elsewhere, Jaime has not taken kindly to Poker Tube's latest article.

"Incase you actually wanted some facts, just ask me"

You mean when people in your stream chat constantly ask to see your results, but you never give a truthful answer?

tbf that article is worse than AIDS
the writer is most likely 12.

"only 4500 viewers out of his 70k followers"
"one of the best grinders"
etc etc.

Some of the stuff in this thread crosses a line imo. I regularly watch Jamie in the background and enjoy the stream. Last two months with the marathon and 30 days have clearly been him working on his game and grinding and he has improved. Shame the grind house is coming to an end as I expect the move abroad will provide a host of distractions and take him away from playing for a while.

Quite liked the article to be honest.

Jaime wants them to ask for facts? Can he show us his profit for the last two years? Just in the interests of fact checking.

good to see Jaime have some success at the micro-stakes in December. its no surprise when he stopped making vlogs to cry about how much he feels like a loser and decided to focus on poker instead things started turning around. Jaime's narcissism led him to believe his popularity was based on *HIM* and not poker and it nearly cost him everything. i think dumb streamers emotionally invest themselves into their following, and smart streamers just pretend to.

First time in a while Jaime & Parker have gone head-to-head for viewers:

PokerStaples - 3159
tonkaaaaP - 2725

Definitely wouldn't have been the case before Parker's break.

Be interesting to see how fickle the numbers are going forward.

42 subs for tonkap vs 9 for jaime

he always has a lot more subs than jaime even today with less viewer.

If tonkaa added jivaro, he would most likely get a lot more viewers.

Also most of jaime's viewers are incapacited people that don't play poker. The dumb questions you see over and over on this channel don't happen on tonka's

Tonkaaa was away for a month, so all the subs have to catch up, while Jaime was streaming nonstop for all of December.

Must be hard to take for all the haters, who said 5 weeks ago nobody will watch him anymore , that Jaime is outnumbering Tonkaaa, while both are deep.

I like both and multitwitch is the way to go obv.

Because most of Tonkas viewers are actually real people?

Not saying he can't be more popular than tonka but I think he benefits more from the fact that carver is mia. They both cater more to the fun players. And to his results shouldn't play those higher stakes to please the audience.

Nah, jaime's are real but most are probably disabled and looking for safe spaces..

The amount of times you see someone in jaime's chat posting crap like "HOLY SHIZ JAIME from 3k CHIPS to 40k CHIP in X tourney, WHAT A SICKO"

jaime just said that he's a fish. Every online tournament is in his bankroll because he has income outside of poker. Officially a re-depositing fish.

Jaime is taking shots at 1ks again, so he obviously feels like he has the juice now. I'm so glad that he gave up on being a successful "Jaime Staples" and decided to be a successful poker player instead.

He's playing 1k's again?

That can only end badly for him.

PokerNews interview Jaime in The Bahamas

Comes across very well as usual. Also running deep in the ME:

Twitter: 'Damn good day so far! 228k 30ish off the money'

GL Jaime.

I started watching Jaime's vlogs (but not his twitch streams) when he traveled across Canada and moved to Montreal. About a month ago he abruptly stopped uploading vlogs without explanation. For those of you who keep up with him via twitch, twitter, etc., has he offered any explanation as to what happened with his (formerly) daily vlogging? Just curious.

He did a 30 days straight of twitch streaming for xmas in Dec. He uploaded the daily twitch highlights at his other YouTube channel.

Pretty sick that Jaime made it to day 4 of PS Championship. Will have to check if he makes it on the live stream table. GL!
