Not sure why you needed so many words to say that you don't see what I see. All you said is that you believe short term results are necessarily evidence of lasting mindset changes, that should endure even when circumstances change.

I actually think you're the negative one of the two of us, not me fwiw. And that you'll be the quickest one to start calling Jaime names and be critical when the going gets tough. You seem to have the same problems dealing with challenge. jmo.

That's not what I said at all, but okay. I'll carry on being the negative one.

So the three musketeers moved to Bucharest. They have just realised that they can't play online poker there.

I like Jamie but there was something highly amusing about this.

Wait you can't play online poker in Romania? How is it I constantly have people from there at my tables?

Probably felt like the Griswolds upon discovering Wally World was closed.

Judging by the video, you can play on PS in Romania with a .eu account, but not with a .com account. The Staples' accounts are .com's, making them ineligible. That being said, it was rather amusing to see the shock, disbelief and bewilderment of realizing their predicament.

Unfortunate situation for the boys.

Hopefully stars will rectify the situation ASAP since they're to blame.

He looks skinnier.
Not playing poker should give him time to triple his work-outs. Good luck.

Jamie and Matt had a lucky escape there. Romania is a complete ****hole and if they were to try there late night walks there like they did in Split they would run into problems.

Have you guys ever had an e-mail that came from Pokerstars Support end up in Junk-mail all of the sudden?

Actually yes, i dont know what it is but i have for sure 10 mails a year from PS which end up in the junk-mail and not where all the others go.

Also how does no one from PS really tried to get in contact with them befor they leave split. I mean I dont watch the stream at all and just once in a while the vlog and even i knew that the staples wanted to go to rumania. From PS pov: one of your biggest streamers goes to a country where he cant play, do they really care that little at this point when it comes to online poker? I mean how can you miss that one of your employers goes to a country where he cant do his job (for you). Would jaime be my employer i would make sure his phone doesnt stop ringing until i have talked to him.

Obviously not an ideal situation, but I can see how it would happen. Jamie asks if he can play in Romania - generally the first thing a Pokerstars rep would do is check if Stars is at global level in Romania, then check if non-Romania residents can play.

I can't imagine they would look into all of the details as to if you need dotcom or doteu usernames etc. Obviously they should have, but I can see why they wouldn't think to check that (especially as I highly doubt this person is highly clued up in the regulations of Euopean countries online gaming laws, I guess it's just his PR contact or Marketing contact)

I saw he's coming to the UK which is cool, but IIRC non dotuk users can only play for a couple of weeks at a time?

Would probably be pretty annoying but at same time they still got a few days in romania to hang out and relax + he said stars is paying/paid for them to relocate to UK because it was stars rep fault who told them they could play in romania

Constantly online, great great stuff if you're from Europe. Seems like a great guy. Although I kind of hate him for these Caribbean yacht cutaways. **** tons of jealousy inside.

His diet is just impressive though. Cannot believe how huge the guy was a couple of months ago.

I'm really impressed with how well he's done, win the bet or not he's gotta realise this was a massive turning point in his life.

Travelling the world, streaming regularly, producing solid YouTube content, losing a lot of weight, making valuable friendships & steadily improving his poker game.

It would be petty not to be impressed. Hope he doesn't **** things up from here.

I've yet to see in Jaime the internal drive to want to keep the weight off once the $75,000 incentive to lose the weight is no longer there. Hope I'm wrong about that, but after the year's up he seems more likely to feel like he's got everything under control so he can eat fried eggs and ribs again. He doesn't seem like he'll to continue to push himself to exercise several hours a day.

I think Matt's got more drive.

He actually said during a stream that he will start eating junk food again for at least a week after the bet is done. Which is understandable, but he sounded like me when I just have a Joint once in a while after quitting for a couple of months. Which never works out the way you plan obv. Never realized that eating crap is an actual addiction. Hope for him that he stays on his path. Money is nice, but the way he must feel right now physically... Bill Perkins seems like a very decent man.
