There was a HUGE discussion if that was okay, sketchy or downright scummy.
That's true, but still it has always been up to the buyer whether to purchase a stake or not. He didn't fake the graphs, he showed his lifetime graph which mostly consisted of his huge winnings in lower stake MTTs.
Will some people be mislead by it, thinking he is crushing the highstakes too what the staking was for? Maybe, but I'm sure the people that get mislead are just from Twitch/fans of his stream, I'm sure the average 2+2er is well aware about different stakes and ROIs to not stake if he thinks it's not profitable on certain stakes with a certain Markup.
Anyway, since he enabled follower-only chat and lets his mods actively deal with trolls, his Twitch chat experience has been much better.
Also the lifetime graph doesn't show much, you can clearly see he was crushing the lower stakes up to $80,000 profit, then with sponsorship money + Twitch money + Staking he was able to play a much larger ABI, where a single big cash could be high 5-figure to 6-figures and change the graph dramatically. It just hasn't happened for him yet.
Also it's not his job to be the BEST poker player as a streamer, his job is to be an ambassador for poker and Pokerstars and he is great at it.
