Do you believe that playing low stakes for an extended period of time (as I assume you will have to do for your $100 to $10,000 effort) negatively affects how you play at high stakes?

Been watching the clips on youtube and whatnot (find it hard to concentrate on hours-long streams) and really enjoying it. Proper engaging and enthusiastic. Whoever does the thumbnails for the youtube vids also deserves a shout.

Saw Doug's hand analysis of Galfond/Klein yesterday and while I enjoyed it I prefer The Poker Guys - just like the back-and-forth aspect more. Looking forward to seeing where the channel and content go though!

I don't think it will change my game at all. I actually play a pretty similar game regardless of game type, because I am a competitive person and I like to win. Also, I am not making any super massive adjustments to the games I am playing (I will make a few small ones). So I think I should be fine after teh challlenge.

I made a couple noob mistakes in that hand (thought it was KJ4 instead of KJ2, did not realize galfond had the Qs), but I still think the analysis was pretty good.

While the back/forth is good, I have no idea who either of the poker guys are. I am not sure how they are qualified to be talking about upper level strategy on their videos (forgive me if they are somehow good/well known players, I am not too familiar with them). I think the back/forth nature takes a way a bit from the learning, although it might add to the entertainment value.

If you can indulge me in another question, with so few players willing to play heads-up online at high stakes have you given thought to just parking yourself at top-level HU SnG tables forcing people that want to play to go through you? (Would that not be sufficiently profitable because of the small edges if you see yourself as best; or, the number of players in that format that are better than you if you do not see yourself as best?)

Sorry yeah I should have clarified what I meant by preferring - also I should clarify that I am very much an enthusiastic amateur at poker, as evidenced by my residence in the micro-stakes forums! By preference I meant how their product is presented on youtube - quite fast and loose, a conversational style, laid back, quick transitions in terms of visuals - it's just something I think works well on short-form video content platforms such as youtube where people's attention spans are a lot shorter.

I've no doubt you are more qualified talking about stuff like this than them - I only know them through their channel, dunno how they rank as players - I just prefer how it is presented as a product. I guess it really depends on what the channel's target audience is.

Having said a that, it's great that's your producing this content because it is some of the most engaging, entertaining poker media out there. As said, looking forward to what's coming!

vods are unwatchable again.

muted for ~50% of total airtime. Last stream was so tilting to watch even more so since our hero dropped like 35-40k
