my current aggro list

2x earthshock
2x lightning bolt
2x rockbiter
2x abusive
1x sir finley
2x tunnel trogg
2x ancestral knowledge
2x windfury
2x eternal sentinel
2x totem golem
2x feral spirit
1x hex
2x lava burst
2x argent horserider
2x flamewreathed faceless
2x doomhammer

Seems pretty good so far. Coining out the 4 mana 7/7 into turn 4 windfury gets some folks real salty.

double windfury seems a little clunky no?

Yes I think you're right. Especially since the only target for windfury is the 7/7 and totem golem and occasionaly a small minion with rockbiter.

this 7-7 for 4 mana is really annoying.

Made an initial pass at a Reno deck and made a revision. So far it holds steady at rank 12-14. It may not be great but it certainly is a lot of fun. Nobody expects the Reno drop, much emote, such wow. Will post after weekend when I'm back home. Gets absolutely trucked by zoo though.

I mean, shaman, in general, gets trucked by zoo, so w/e

Dunno how you do it Nofear, I can't climb with midrange or totem shaman. Along with zoo I think mage is a near auto loss. Im something like 0-8 against these yogg control mages and they never come close to needing yogg. So much removal and answers. Suggestions on that matchup?

Mage definitely crushes shaman right now almost as hard as zoo.

Learned something today:

You can not use your shaman heropower when there is one totem of each kind on the board.
Today i set up T7 with Thunder Bluff, had a full board, and then nothing happens.... villian gives me a friendly 'WOW'... lol.

Whats the reason behind that?

Game logic only allows you to summon totems you don't have. If you have all totems in play, your hero power would summon nothing. The alternative would be to let you hero power anyway and get nothing which would be super annoying for newbs who didn't know better.

Worth noting that it was programmed this way before inspire and before 'blank' heropowering would have any effect on the game state. It's possible that it should be looked at again.

Yeah. To be honest, I don't really see a reason why the logic can't just go back to acting like 0 totems are out when all 4 totems are active. The only hero power in the game where you can run into a scenario where you literally can't use it.

So, Maelstrom Portal is better than expected, imo. Really helps against the aggro matchups. That being said, getting Murloc Tidecaller more than 50% of the time I use it is rather hilarious variance, though.

Cruised from 10-5 today pretty much just screwing around with a new midrange deck.

Control warrior the only thing I've face significant difficulties beating, at the moment, but luckily, there aren't too many of those running around.

And tempo mage have been free wins, which is nice.

This is my twist on midrange I've been messing around with:

it's doing a lot better than i expected. I want to squeeze in an extra frost shock but i just can't. this list is greedy but emperor allows some crazy maly + maelstrom combos or al akir rockbiter + flametongue combos. plus your maly + lightning bolt + lightning bolt combo. then doomhammer for consistency and more synergy with rockbiters than the thunder bluff valiant in the 5 slot.

hard mulligan for spirit claws/golem/tuskarr totemic

Hey everyone!

Long time, no talk! Hearthstone has been pretty good to me lately. Playing a lot and still hosting my podcast Top Deck Kings. Had a roller coaster of a season in September...spending most of the month in top 100 only to lose it in the last hour...oh well, the season didn't count anyway.

Anyway, I really like my take on Curator shaman. Streaked straight to rank 12 on a short session today. Feels strong and just another take on a brokeback deck.

(Note:Imgur images are showing blank in the image icon...so I'm just going to link it below)

post patch, do you still like tuskarr just for the body? The body still synergizes with tbv/muklar and 25% for spell totem. Obv losing totem golem/manatide/flame sucks, but not sure what else you can replace it with and still get anywhere near the effect.

I've recently built an Evolve C'thun deck that I'm having a ton of fun with. Evolving the disciples along with the Twins always gives great value.

I've tried the Evolve C'Thun too, it's pretty fun but seems inconsistent. There are a lot of different things going on that work great when it works.

I'd cut the Acolytes, you have tons of draw with Drakes, Gnomes, Engineers, and you can't injure them yourself easily. Try adding a moat lurker or some more minions that spawn extra minions. C'Thun's Chosen probably is a must in this deck.

I decided to run a control shaman for a bit, since the cc midrange is boring as **** atm.

About 10 games, I realized that its easily destroying a majority of the decks in the meta, atm. Shaman is just ridiculous no matter what youre running.

Also, making a discard lock fatigue is halarious.

Murlocs are a pretty fun deck to climb with, right now.

Pretty hilarious winning on turn 4
