Two scientists are a must, two highmanes are a must. The tempo gain from mad scientist is too good to pass up. It's the most op card in the game after Boom. About every 3 weeks there is a "nerf scientist" 5 post rant in the low content thread.

If you want to run the mystic, I'd run just one owl.

If you MUST have two silences, the next thing I'd remove is the haunted creeper.

Oh, good call. I don't think I need the creeper for a beast most games. Well, not with a 2nd owl added. I mean it deals more damage than the owl and all, but I think I can go without one.

Spellbreaker is drastically inferior to a 2nd owl as well. You cannot underestimate the usefulness of the owl as a skill command enabler. Spellbreaker's 4 mana is clunky and 4/3 body is weak. The turn 7 owl, hero power, skill command combo is a key move in the midrange hunter repertoire.

You are definitely a 65/35 to 70/30 dog to a true face hunter but I'm glad things are working out currently. Face hunter should be your worst matchup with that deck. Edit - I guess if you find your kezan and steal a flame trap you autowin.

Also thinking about it more, the 2nd owl is a decent top deck some % of the time, and the creeper is a terrible draw after early game.

I finally went over to the dark side and have started playing Hunter.

It's a little more towards midrange than a true Face Hunter but is still a very fast deck overall.

That deck needs two bows. Eaglehorn is amazing, 60% of the time, every time.

Video doesn't work for me either.

I also had a flare in there (just got this yesterday, no idea how useful yet), which is why I emptied my hand to draw an extra card with Quick Shot late. I considered holding the 2nd owl for Archmage, but I didn't think the match could possibly go so long. Either he didn't have one, or it was buried. Probably the latter.

I would not play flare. Flare was an important part of the meta when 75% of the games were hunter mirror in July 2014 (undertaker rapefest) but now its not valuable.

I mainly wanted to post that game to show that hunter can indeed win long 30+ turn type games, occasionally. I can't imagine anything like that being common. That match was totally exhausting, lol.

today I was at 11 when my face hunter opponent ran out of gas

he had nothing on the board and no cards in hand

top decks quick shot into quick shot into wolf rider

must've been a blast for him

I'm testing a deck with Ragnaros in it now. I don't thiiiiink it is too slow given my build is already towards the high end. The only downside I've seen so far is that it just creates a BGH target.

That can be a good thing. If opponents hold one BGH, they might assume their Hunter opponent doesn't have BGH targets and waste it as a 4 drop.

It's not #1 legend now (well, it might be, I don't know). It finished May as #1 legend. I don't own Bloodmage, so I haven't bothered making this deck yet. I'd substitute Kobold Geomancer for it because it costs the same and also has +1 spell power, but the card draw from Bloodmage is supposedly just as important as the +1 spell power in this deck.

It's just a face hunter deck with stupid tech cards. That deck is bad. Thalnos is bad. Arcane shot is bad. Misdirection is bad. Mad Bomber lolwtf? This has to be a troll.

However, I do hope that it sees LOTS of play. It will make the other hunter archetypes that much stronger if people start to play around misdirection and arcane spam.
