Played a version of Gunther mage (1x Polymorph, 1x Book, Elise, 1x Volcanic, 1x Courier) from rank 6 to 4. I'm a really bad mage player but the wins feel pretty easy. Definitely helped that it seemed none of the paladins or taunt warriors I faced knew what they were doing.

Toughest games seem to be vs priest.

Has anyone tried this deck with more of a midrange minion curve? Water ele is one of the best cards not seeing any play this expansion.

Quest rogue unplayable at R5-1 IMO.

Yeah, the aggro storm at wannabe ranks is tough for quest rogue.

I'm literally seeing such a small amount of aggro decks. It's been priest, quest warrior and super greedadin.

i played mill a lot in wild, still the most fun deck in the game imo

I mean its really bad in the pirate era but theres enough slow stuff like reno decks where you can gain huge satisfaction milling reno/kazakus

I got absolutely wrecked by a quest/mill Rogue today at r4. Doubt it's any good though; I made some bad decisions because it's been so long since I've been milled.

That's amazing, I certainly see those greedadins (decent matchup) and the occasional taunt warrior, but the priests are silence decks (bad for quest rogue).

But mostly it's secret mages, token druids and PWs.

Feels like I haven't seen a juicy elemental shaman in a week.

Sick, next patch will have deck sharing and importing built into the client. That's a very overdue feature add.

trying to clear several warrior quests, queue with pw into control shaman

get 2 ships cannons. frothing berserker. Turn 4 goes:

war axe, southsea deckhand, dread corsair. All told, 12 dmg to the face just from cannonballs. lol. down to 3 health in that one turn.

Been playing some token druid and I'm definitely running well. Every game I win I feel like I got away with murder.

The deck is very strong yet feels very fragile. You get cleared once and it's hard to recover.

With pirate warrior you sorta always feel like you're one card from winning -- you have a weapon and every top deck is direct damage. If token Druid loses board almost no top deck helps except living mana.

The most surprising thing is I've won 3 mirror matches when other guy had coin. I figured coin would be a huge advantage, but having initiative is obv very powerful.

(I use 1x innervate, cutting it completely seems wrong.)

I finally got my golden paladin after being so close for so long but not being able to play the damn class in standard for like a year or however long it was. 150 wins with Anyfin and the last 50 were all Secret Pally in Wild...the same damn list that's been around forever with zero ungoro cards heh.

ETA: I started at 20 and tinkered with a few murloc builds, MR and even that hybrid murloc/secret/anyfin deck they have posted on TS, butnahh, none of them were anywhere near as good as ol' reliable sekret pally. It carved through dumpster tiers like a hot knife through butter with like 62% wr. No idea if it's any good beyond that because I gotta be honest I'm ****in sick of seeing HELLO CHALLENGER's face atm.

It already does, I play it in my MR hunter build and it's great. Very effective against pirate warrior too.

Nice. Next for me is warrior at 350 wins or so. Have to stoop to taunt or pirate. Or maybe I'll start grinding something else, rest of mine are much lower.

Looks like another patch change is one golden and one non-golden will stack in decklists? Also a great change. Triggers me hard when I only have one gold copy.

Can you share your list? Seems like as good a reason as any to give MR hunter a go.

This was long overdue imo

I really dislike this meta. Blizzard have said they want a game where each player has a chance to disrupt the other players plans so they try to discourage combo decks like Patron Warrior and Miracle Rogue, then they release quests like Rogue and Mage.
These Quests are one sided you cant stop them completing them and once they do you've lost so the only sensible thing to do is go so fast they are dead before they can activate their quest. Not only are these decks infuriating to play against they encourage the aggro meta just like jade Druid did.

Quest mage is terrible.
