I'm 11-5 so far with it and still learning lol. Making huuuge misplays and losing turns everywhere.

Your bad matchups are bad but some games are almost impossible to lose, esp against priest

I play mostly Priest so it's pretty annoying for me. Drawing and playing 2 Dragonfire potions doesn't make the matchup any more winnable.

Cards and decks have been nerfed for lesser offenses than playing a 5/5, another 5/5, a third 5/5, and finally a 5/5 with charge, shadowstepping the 5/5 with charge and replaying a 5/5 with charge, all for 4 mana.

One thing that terrifies me in that matchup are dragonfire pots. Try to get them to overcommit, a lot of them will. If you can discover an extra one off shadow visions even better.

Also healing to health totals that end in 7 or 8 are pretty good because it takes you out of range of a charger + weapon

The problem with Dragonfire potions is that you're spending your entire turn to clear their board. They can spend that same 6 mana on mimic pods and hallucinations, and use whatever they have leftover to rebuild a board of 5/5's. If you happen to have your second Dragonfire, that's great but you just aren't going to win against flame elementals. True they have to spend 3 mana on the first one with deathrattle but they get that value back pretty quickly.

I had a big long response written about why it is unfun to play Hearthstone in that way but ended up saying **** it.

I believe that Blizzard puts a lot of thought and testing in to their design process and I believe that they're fine with certain matchups just really sucking for one person.

Jade druid should still be favored, esp with full heals and armor gain, and the anaconda druid just massacres control warrior as long as you don't get unlucky on brawls and stuff.

Is that Reynad "discover mage" different from burn mage? Seems like priest is the only real counter so far.

Probably better to just ban your opponent's warrior pre-match than go in with Jade Druid which may be slightly favored against quest and control warrior but gets wtfwafflestomped by rogue or pretty much any fast aggro deck.

The anaconda druid, not jade, really surprises you. The rate at which you can put a 12/12 on the board on turn 5 is pretty damn high.

If there's one card that needs to be nerfed in this expansion it's gentle megasaur. It is a neutral that's strictly better than the class card Lightfused Stegodon.

Arcanologist could probably stand being a 2/2 as well.

Loving tempo warrior with pirate package, feels pretty strong against everything not mage. Turns out Grom and malk are still really good. Paladin can be rough too but easy to steal some games with explosive pirate starts. Feels like it has a lot of potential, major taunt warrior weakness vs aggro covered (no need to mulligan quest and risk drawing it), plus everyone assumes you are pirate and plays accordingly.

I rolled a jade up last night, I didn't play it much during MSOG meta and was bored plus had a druid quest so **** it. I started off quite well, won four straight against two quest warriors, a priest and a mage (who somehow never drew ice block), then proceeded to lose a bunch in a row to various aggro decks and quest rogues. Dropped back to 20 zero stars and logged.

I wasn't tracking stats, but as far as the deck's matchups...I think I lost to pirate warrior only once, so that was nice. Paladin felt about 50/50. That new discover mage was tough, but burn mage was no problem (just gain a gazillion health with armorsmiths and then they can't kill you). Priest was really tough to beat--I probably lost to every dragon priest I faced.

I actually always thought Ghoul, Bloodhoof and frothing worked well together but Ghoul has serious anti-synergy with pirates. (I started playing pirate warrior in October and have probably tried 50 different cards, the Ghoul+ Frothing combo won some games vs Zoo and MR shamans).

I was trying to make Curator/water warrior work but never found anything I liked, I will def try this, but for now, smacking people in the face with Deathwing in turn 5 is amazing.

There's a good chance I'll never play taunt warrior or jade druid.

As I said the Giant Anaconda Druid crushes them usually (I just lost to one for the first time, am 5-1 and you usually destroy them).

I have had good results vs them with Sherazin rogue. Quest rogue works too, but these are more like 55-45 or 60-40.

I just ended up giving it to a friend. A got one potential offer on ebay for $100 though but otherwise no bids. But still, it's so easy to scam someone. All the buyer has to do is e-mail ebay and say "the password he gave me was wrong" and he'll get his money back and I won't have the account anymore.
