If there are a number of good control options and if the Jades are teched a little to have some anti aggro tools I can imagine Jade can do quite well especially with all the taunts it typically runs. TS has Jade as the 10th best deck and 2nd tier so it must be somewhat viable.

Think the rise of Jades is in response to what was a heavy mage/taunt warrior meta. The druids can now get like 30 armor regularly.

Throw in a couple of crabs and it's pretty solid all around.

Ya the ones I played against had earthen scales and primordial dragon plus crab.

Did they change the drop rates on Animal Companion so it's Huffer 90% of the time? holy crap.

I've been going through, "Why is it always Huffer?" for a week straight.

Is anyone actually good at quest rogue here? No matter what I do, I can't post a winning record with it. I'm 20-35 over the past 4 days. I watch Kolento or Firebat or whoever play it every day and I still suck.

Lots of streamers have been playing it. Kolento, firebat, thijs, dog, etc.

Firebat said in one of his last streams "If you want to win, play this deck."

Personally I don't see it and think he's trying to make ladder soft so he can get out of the dumpster but who knows. I'm only 25 wins from golden druid and just can't finish.

I've never played a game of jade druid and i don't intend to start anytime soon.

That feeling when you face a Pirate Warrior who misplays early and midgame horribly, you re take board and set up next turn lethal, don't ever draw either Gorlakka, and you adapt twice in your last turn and don't get a taunt, and then he top decks Leeroy for exact lethal. FeelsBadMan

What do you guys think of this deck?

Went 38-23 down to rank 5 with this deck. It's basically Kibler's deck but instead of crappy mana geodes it has wild pyromancers and instead of kabal songstealer (which i might put back in tbh) it has an extra PoM. Crushes aggro and can out-value slower decks. Really fun to play, would recommend.

Why the mana geode hate?

Super standard imo. You should realize by now that anyone who is playing PW and isn't legend is probably petty bad. Also that you'll never draw your tech cards but your opponents always will.

I think that deck kinda sucks against paladin so I don't wanna deal with that

I need 150 more wins on rogue, 100 more wins on warlock (lol not gonna happen in this expansion) and 438 wins on paladin and I have all golden heroes

I'm in this really weird spot where every deck I queue up with feels weak against everything I queue into. don't know what to play at all. resting around rank 2k, made a run for <1k last night but had a nasty loss streak.

I don't know how legend MMR works at all but I think mine has settled down a bit, losses only lose me ~100 rank rather than the 300-500 it was before.

so many first time legends this month I think this is the month to try to make a push, it's really soft.

I referenced this upthread but curious as to whether or not you feel you need the two clerics (or even one) in this deck? My Lyra deck has more of a problem with too many cards in hand rather than too few in almost every game.

Cleric on turn 1 is actually really OP now when it doesn't have to stare down Totem Golem in 30% of games.

I do see his point that the geode creates a lot of awkward spots, especially when on board with cleric.

I mean I get that you need a good 1 drop as a priest and there aren't many to choose from, plus opponents tend to focus on removing her asap when she's on board, so I do see some value there. I just haven't needed her card draw even once that I can recall.

Along with Tol'Vir, Geode should be an elemental imo

you need the card draw i think. also it's pretty good on turn 1 against certain classes.

Too slow? I feel like clerics are great in Priest and can facilitate a lot of situations in games that allow Priest to get the tools to win the game. This would be a bigger version of Northshire that you can drop on curve if you have to, but picking it up later on in the game it's great to play for X mana + 2, drawing you a card with the hero power.

Return/rise of jade druids confirmed, and it's good for rogues. I had just about given up on my 3 rogue decks (tired of constantly queueing into hunter/PW/burn mage).

Def need to run sap for their 4/8 and 5/10 taunts tho.

Maybe in some alternate wild universe where Holy Champion/Lightwarden heal cleric is viable.

Priest has good options on turn 4 right now, with PoftF, Shifting Shade, Shambler, Twilight Drake, Tortollan filling the slot based on what variant you're playing. If you want a heal/draw combo with Northshire, there's Injured Blademaster.
