was being a bit facetious, and 1/3 into rockpool is actually stronger against other aggro. And hopefully we never see something as ridic as trogg/totem golem again. Its still just crazy to me that paladin was expected to remain garbage-tier and here we are with 3-4 viable archetypes primarily using neutral minions and previously unplayed/underplayed cards like vilefin inquisitor and steward.

I'm pretty sure the discover list or some other variant which includes more minions will end up being better. The deck is just bonkers. I climbed room r5 to r2 with 2 or 3 losses. One was to PW and I think a mirror and a hunter. Your plan is way more flexible with minions over freezes.

I keep thinking Anomalus belongs in a mage deck in this meta somehow but he just seems bad when I try to play him, I really thought with Entomb gone from the meta he'd be great but nah.

it is crazy. for me, the biggest surprise has been seeing previously below-garbage tier cards like wisp and stonetusk boar seeing actual play in high legend decks.

Miracle has green matchups across the board in pally and is even with murloc.

This was largely my experience yesterday. I think I played for about 12 hours and only lost to a paladin twice. I was farming the **** out of them. Their biggest weakness is against aggressive cold blood + patches openings, they can't really deal with that until turn 4, and you can easily control their weak first three turns with backstabs and your dagger. They have a really hard time with big edwins too. I can usually take them to 15 health every time I open with a southsea deckhand + cold blood on the coin. I haven't been seeing aldor much from that particular deck but he makes an appearance occasionally. They dont keep it in mulligan though.

PW is a deck to contend with for sure, and that's really scary to me. I wonder if my miracle days are over for a little while now, fun while it lasted.

I think these meta reports are bad for the game in general. They're great, but also bad.

Gente Megasaur is the engine that drives the Murlocs. It's a strictly better version of the paladin beast.

Tarim is an amazing card that fits in every paladin archetype.

I think I'm gonna just play every single freeze and board clear to troll people trying to get legend with PW and aggro pally once I get there myself. Maybe play all the oozes and crabs too.

I see dragon priest in at tier 2 on that list. Deck is really, really strong; it's what I've been playing @ legend ranks. So much more interesting and fun than old dragon priest, it's no longer about just plopping down minions on curve. Has really great matchups across the board, but you just get **** on by miracle rogue and the elemental versions of quest rouge.

Also, I love how much worse than everything else exodia mage is on that list.

They're not, they're only bad for you and other high-information players.

It's pretty damn funny/telling that he almost never publishes his meta reports before VS releases theirs. I expect we'll see a tempo storm update in the next few days. lol

Tempo Storm's snapshot was last week. I don't think Reynad really cares so much about the VS report as much as people recognize that TS's snapshot is mostly perspective and not based on evidence.

Guy blows all his burst on my minions..... swings first into vape with a giant (had both and sherazin top 9 cards) and I set it up where he can't pop my block so I can win through his. Don't worry he also stole antonidas and has prep fireball prep fireball.

Prior game I lost to a guy running flare. F uuuuuuuuuuu.
