Rogues draw Lyra whether you have it in your deck or not.

I'm not sure if I should craft Lyra or Elise for priest late game value shenanigans. I got to play Lyra a few times from Kalimos servant but was disappointed. Shadow visions+Elise seems like a pretty ridic combo.

btw I've started cutting spells to make SV more consistent. I just keep SV, both shadow words and dragonfire. That way SV is almost guaranteed to give me the spell I need (if it doesnt offer its copy instead).

Also, wish I didn't suck at aggro druid. Makes me feel like a dolt but I just can't get any traction with any of the variations of it.

Looks like there are two shaman elemental legendaries, one which is in all the decks and the other which is in none. I opened one of the latter! But it's gold so all good. Last time that happened it was Aviana and I dusted it because who plays Aviana ever? and regretted it so I think I'll hold onto it for now.

Data Reaper now has Ungoro deck archetypes

Zoo, Handlock, Murloc Shaman, Quest Mage and Priest confirmed not real decks. Quest Rogue is borderline not a real deck.

Hunter is decent but basically does worse than Pirate Warrior by a little bit in every matchup.

Aggro Druid looks like it will get destroyed once the meta stabalizes, but it super punishes all the meme decks.

Pirate Warrior vs Elemental Shaman looks like what we're mostly headed towards.

Thijs was doing Thijs things with a Lyra deck that had a billion 0-/1-cost spells. At one point he was joking that he needed to use Purify on his Lyra to stop drawing cards.

There's got to be something that comes out of Lyra, it could be Questing Adventurer, Red Mana Wyrm, Yogg, that will be good. There's too much potential value there.

You really shouldn't need more than 2 or 3. If they rat your Alex you're kinda boned but it's a bad matchup anyway due to armor. It's also a hard deck to play so don't expect to win a lot at first especially against bad matchups.

I had games where I didn't draw rat and rogue completed quest turn 4.

Maybe pirate warrior hard counters does because it's so fast but that's only 1 deck.

oh and if pirate warrior is the dominant deck again this meta I think I will find other things to do with my time. I don't mind facing pirate warrior but last meta at rank 5+ it was getting crazy 50% pirates.

From personal experience and what I've read elsewhere pirate warrior counters quest rogue pretty well. It may not after a little refinement.

Also I agree am very sick of pirate warrior in general and its continued existence is what we all feared, but it's going to continue to be popular if it remains quest rogue's only real counter in addition to beating all the new slow decks to a pulp.

Patches needs the Hall of Fame treatment

Yea, we're headed to a mid elemental shaman meta. I only noticed last night how absurd that deck is.

Ugh. At least i was right about PW. I think miracle rogue will be powerful also.

I had one take me (quest priest) all the way to fatigue yesterday and I only won because of a Deathwing pull from DO + he just ran out of cards.

I'm worried I blew my dust load far too soon this time. Don't regret sherazin at all but i'm doubtful on a few mage cards. Also dubious of lyra

I've been yoyoing dumpster ranks since the xpac dropped, hadn't played the same deck more than 2-3 times in a row until I opened Lyra. It's more fun but no way to ladder. I don't really care about the ladder anymore though, and I find the game is much more fun when you dgaf about it.

I get it, it's obviously a high-value card but I can't find a slot or time to play it.

Turn 3 Aldor or Stonehill and getting another Tirion
Turn 4 True Silver

Then turns 5-8 should be a chain of elementals and/or Tarim and Spikeridged Steed, and you have Tirion to throw in somewhere.

I might put in Fire Plume Phoenix instead of Tolvir just so I have a 4 drop elemental if I don't have True Silver.

Yeah I tried dropping Tolvir for Fireplume Phoenix too. Think it'll probably prove to be the better option long term, and like you say, more consistent with Ele's.

Think I've maybe played Aldor on curve like 2 or 3 times, can't see why we'd often want to. If you can find room for Tar Creepers, they are a great option in the 3 slot.

PW is so easy. Tech in Crawler and drink their tears. I love that card.

I put in King Dred in MR hunter, it is actually great fun. Loving spamming hunter right now.
