Yeah I imagine there are some token builds that could utilise that pally card.

Do each of the recruits adapt separately or do they all receive the same adaptation?

I think I hate that card. If it's good then games get a lot more repetitive.

I'm not really sure how you're supposed to make him good. I don't see how to use him as a psuedo-tutor in a combo deck.

Like, maybe you could throw him in mid-range hunter and now your draws are all Highmanes and Call of the Wild or whatever. If you're using him in a fair way, then your deck needs to 1) not reliably spend all its mana turns 7+ 2) have expensive cards in it 3) not play very long games

Kill Command and Eaglehorn Bow are 3 mana, so I'm not sure that card works.

After sleeping on it I'm not as high on Hemet. The problem is he is a legendary and won't show up consistently enough in your hand.

Blazecaller is a neutral Fire Elemental on steroids. Probably a two of in any elemental deck.

Servant of Kalimos seems ok.

Ravenous Pterrordax is really good.

Obviously Galvadon is sick.

3) Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers.

Yeah like adapting into anything that plays around removal is just so good, or forces villain to use big AOE or combos to remove.
