It's way more of a complicated deck than it looks, not only do you have to stay alive from the inevitable beatdown, you often have to plan three or four turns in advance

Yea legend for me has been just me playing at my normal win rate but way more games

It's complicated and not easy to win with--totally agree with it there but streamers don't like streaming it. It's not as complicated as pre nerf patron but it's still a much harder deck than most tempo decks.

I was gonna say the only time you lose is when Lyra gives you like 5 dragon fire potions, but yeah those are bad scenarios too.

I also imagine the mages you're playing are better than the ones at rank 3.

Just won on of probably my favourite ever games as Ele Shaman vs Taunt Control Warrior. He mulliganed quest assuming I was token Shaman I guess, and went full taunt. I baited out all removal/brawls with a Baron Geddon in hand that I'd discovered and dropped it with 16 health when opponent was at 30+36 armour, then ended up winning with 1hp deep into fatigue. Only got the win because of hearing totems weird interaction where it heals after Geddon, to keep my 3/3 Jade alive.

Do you guys mulligan away 2-drops to dig for 1-drops in murloc pally? I think it might be correct. I used to keep one 2-drop if it was decent but it really hurts your tempo if you don't hit a 1-drop.

I just played my first game as quest priest vs quest warlock, crushed it, questlock is just laughably bad and slow, but still better than quest mage i think

What made you concede? I mean, its not like its a tricky lethal. You don't have to do any calculations. Just cast two spells, attack with everything to face, then check if you won.

Questlock is emphatically worse than quest mage and is probably 50-50 vs. a random deck of 30 cards.

I would hard mulligan for 1 drops, especially Inquisitor or Tidecaller.

Not sure what you're running, but I'd toss Bluegill, esp. if you are using Finja, and Hydrologist is only a keep if you have a 1 drop IMO. Those are 2 drops with late game value.

Yea I tried to bm a warlock at 8 health with leeroy + evisc his knife juggler, but I forgot to evisc the juggler first so leeroy kills himself and the guy conceded before he realized my mistake.

Calculated a single roar, didn't add up, conceded, immediately remembered I had two roars. Just an enormous brain fart. Too bad cause he probably thought it was all over for me. Would've been sweet.

Got matched against someone with a legend ranking over 10k on NA. That's a lot of legends this month. It doesn't normally get that high, right?

I've been at 23k+ on EU. The ladder change made it significant easier to get to legend imo, it effectively injects free stars into the system.

Trying out a nzoth rogue with Mistress of Mixtures. I put Umbra in to proc extra heals from her, and it's a pretty cool deck.

Unfortunately, the interaction with Sherazin isn't good.
