Control warrior just runs out of stuff. They run out of removal, they run out of threats. 4 health doesn't clear off endless supply of tokens. It's actually irrelevant in the matchup. Pally is a big favorite over control warrior because the warrior can never effectively gain the board and end the game.

I've had the opposite experience in the last few days with the TGT control warriors. They often lose the board early but can easily get it back later and then play tons of big threats and has tons of life gain, especially with Justicar.

In it's own odd way if you play pally centric on large single threats and you don't run 2 equalities, then yea, maybe you aren't a favorite. Control Warrior is good at dealing with 1 big thing per turn. It's the endless recruits and murloc knights and \ Kappa / they can't deal with.

The life gain is literally irrelevant in the matchup as it's a attrition match.

The problem in the matchup is that it sometimes end up going to fatigue and 2 minions a turn doesn't take out his ****ing 1 ysera in board even at 7 health with 0 minions left because 4 health is bigger than 2 SHR

Just got back to Rank 5 after not having really played since April, using a DOUBLE FLARE, DOUBLE ELEKK, Bear & Snake trap package Midrange Hunter. The Elekk's are just such nice tools to have. I forgot how fun Juggler + Unleash was. Yeah, after all that "Sea Giant" discussion you do realize there are just tons of minions on the board in this meta. PRIME TIME for THE HOUNDS!

Almost makes me want to run a Starving Buzzard for old times' sake... though I'm sure the Belcher & Stranglethorn Tiger in the five slot are wiser calls.

It can't beat a real midrange Paladin very often, but I think they were slight favorites before TGT. Now, even bigger. But, control warrior is a pretty big favorite over all kinds of eboladin, and so far I've found its about a draw with the challenger decks (not sure who is favored). But a true midrange pally is definitely my worst nightmare as a control warrior, even double brawl doesn't help much.

It's not a huge fav like against face hunter, but it is def a fav against eboladin. If the control warrior gets to turn 7 with >=10 health, the paladin loses.

I don't track my stats, but the only matchups I feel are a disadvantage for Control Warrior are Midrange Paladin, Zoolock, and Midrange Hunter to a lesser extent. I'll take my chances against Face Hunter over Midrange, the Midrange deck just does so much damage every turn starting around 4, and face runs out of steam.

I guess combo druid is completely out of the meta to ignore listing that as warriors nemesis! Historically that has been the worst for CW. If CW is running harrison (esp double brawl) i dont think midrange pally is too bad.

Anybody have a good dice simulator game? probably less variance than an Hearthstone game right now

I'm waiting for stats on arena since TGT is released, but I think best player won't be able to maintain the 70%winrate they have before
