Yeah, I was worried the lack of activators was really going to hurt - I got offered zero 0-drops and only some really awful 1-drops (not that many 2-drops either tbh), but then you get the most value from the Vilespines on T8+ anyway, and it's arena so games usually last long enough. Quite opponents ended up top-decking when I had Vilespines in hand to remove anything they might throw down.

Envenom Weapon was the MVP of this run though, that's maybe the best card in Arena right now. Answers basically any threat, then leaves your opponent stuck not really wanting to play their big minions and just see them removed as well.

rogue is so good in arena right now. it has clearly slowed down compared to where it was and other than mage being really annoying i think its in a good state.

Primordial Drake is the new Abyssal Enforcer you absolutely have to play round it as much as possible from turn 8 on.

First ever 12-0. Other cards are Hogger, Moat Lurker, Sprint, Giant Mastodon x2

Really only 1 or 2 games were even close. Rewards were 250 gold, golden Silence, 2 packs (1 Un'Goro, 1 WotOG)

Suddenly I'm finding arena much tougher. When Un'goro launched my arena average jumped up from 4.7 to until this weekend 6.3, since then its crashed to 3.6 in eight runs. Variance, people getting to grips with Un'goro, reversion to the mean.
Kripparrien mentioned something about arena getting harder at the end of month but i cant think of a reason it would do?

People playing arena after reaching their ranked goal for the month (legend or rank 5 or whatever) is the only thing I can come up with.

I think arena is mostly played by casual players and people who like to grind ladder only play when their goal is either reached or completely unreachable so you get a big influx of somewhat dedicated players in the last few days.

First 12 of ungoro. Felt really average after drafting it but managed to somehow out tempo most opponents despite having fairly shoddy 2s. Dirty rat showed up in 9 games, I guess he just likes to watch cos I only played him twice and he nearly cost me the game both times.

Also I like how stoneridged steed has singlehandedly reintroduced silence into the arena meta. Makes a lot of situations more interesting.

Almost my first ever 12-0, but wasn't to be. Ran into a Malchezaar Paladin who Alex'd me then Lay on Hands'd out of lethal range. Ah well...rewards were garbage - 255 gold, a golden rare, an epic, and a pack.

Played one game of arena, turn 3 he plays the beast that wins the game, turn 4 he plays the beast that wins the game, into windfury and stealth.

I am going to give arena a miss until the next expansion, this is ridiculous.

What a way to lose a 10 win run. Super far ahead on board vs a rogue with 2 cards in hand. Top deck hallucinate - > Kazakus - > 5 mana board wipe + summon 2 minions and gets his two biggest minions back.

i went 0-3 with a deck containing 5 spikeridged steeds.

then i had a priest deck with nothing on board until turn 4 beat a turn 2 fledgling.

just went 12-2 with a rogue deck. 2 envenom weapons, 3 hallucinates and having mistress of mixtures in my opening hand like 10 of the games. was rated 69.9 on heartharena.

2 packs, 250 gold, epic

Arena is such trash right now. Standard 2-0 game vs a guy who falls massively far behind but don't worry he has 2x flamestrike, 2x meteor and a blizzard. Next opponent also falls massively far behind and then has blizzard into flamestrike into firelands.
