1st arena run in a long while, didnt have high expectations going in but most off my opponents lacked early game

Moroes did a lot of work

I'm starting to think the changes have really hurt Warrior. Weapons seem to be counted like Minions for drafting so they don't have the spell occurrence bonus. As weapons are warriors primary removal the class just has way less removal then others. Couple that with the newest expansion bonus going to Brass Knuckles a four drop weapon with 2 attack and both Deaths bite and War Maul rotating out and i fear Warrior is doping back into the junk class tier it used to be in.

Finished off a run and got 12 wins. Pyroblast won me about 6 games. I managed to draw it on turn 6 through 9 most games and had the ability to smorc them to 10. Final boss was a shaman who hero powered for 4 out of his first 6 goes, so it was a bit anti climactic. Didn't take a pic of my list but it wasn't what I would have considered a great mage deck, with no fireballs and only 1 frostbolt. Effigy worked quite well on a few occasions since people played around the other secrets more.

Posting to make the guy's reward a few posts up feel a bit better about them...

sick deck, I would get an early lead early most of the time and just run away with the game. people seem to draft way to much late game

Have they messed with rewards? Had a mediocre three win run recently and got two packs plus 25 gold for it, which seems bizarrely generous.

Just killed a guy with C'Thun in arena. Apparently Prince Malchezaar can create C'Thun which I then Mind Vision'd.

Frankly Prince Malchezaar should only create cards legal in the format, but w/e

Awhile ago. Some people were rather annoyed since average gold went down slightly making infinite harder.

Just faced a guy with Sludge Belcher/Piloted Shredder etc at 7 wins. When will arena finally be cleansed???

Unlicensed Apothecary into Refreshment Vendor is my new favorite combo. I actually think Unlicensed Apothecary may be the most underrated card in Warlock. That thing just wins games... provided your opponent can't kill you

idk man, so far this month every deck I've drafted Unlicensed Apothecary in has gone 12 wins. Every deck without it hasn't.

hadnt played arena in at least a month. had a quest and figured w/e. 1 of the losses was when i got a HOTS queue and just insta quit in the middle of a game.

thought the deck would be too heavy. turns out when you have like 5 comeback cards it doesnt matter. good to know i still got it

Runs don't end when the format changes, so someone could theoretically still be sitting on a draft from classic.

However those old cards are not always able to generate tokens. I know spare parts won't generate (Mech Yeti etc). It would be hilarious if Belcher didn't drop the 1/2 taunt...

Just went 3-3 with a deck that had 2 CoTW, 2 highmanes, 3 dispatch kodos and insane beast synergy wiht 7 2 drops and 2 deadly shots. Highmane got silenced, freezing trap got flared (off the top)........I just can't.
