Re: What's your scene like?

Hey guys, OP here. I have really enjoyed checking out everyone's "scene" over the last 5 years! I just refubished my table a bit after some good usage since 2007...replaced the felt, changed cup holders, and gave it few new coats of poly.

Keep 'em coming!

I like the industrial EXIT sign. Safety first.

Re: What's your scene like?

I mentioned in the open thread that I was refurbing a craigslist table. Here are a few pics. I'll get more up once it's all done!

Original table top on new ikea chip/card storage legs.

Original legs for reference.

Condition of table when I bought it.

Current state, a few more things need to be done before I can consider it complete.

All in all I guess it was worth it. The rail was easily the worst part and took us most of last yesterday and this morning to complete. I'm currently using some 1.25" flat black molding for the visible face of the raised rail and I'm not happy with it so I'm looking to get a few strips of translucent 1.5" plexiglass or acrylic to finish it with and LED strip behind. The legs work out perfectly as it leaves enough room for knees and also will store two 1000 capacity chip carriers as well as extra chips and setups, etc. I'll update soon with some better pics when everything is complete. Thanks for looking and thanks to everyone here for showing your photos as well!
