If a hen and a half lays an egg and a half in a day in a half, how much does a pound of butter whey?

Re: The Well ... I am a pfapfap, AMA!

1) On an average night of dealing what is usually your take in tips? Does it depend on the stakes the players are playing or does that not matter at all? Just thinking that dealing for the guys in that million dollar game might pay better, but I wasn't sure.

2) What's the biggest pot you as a player have ever raked in?

3) Biggest tourney you've ever won? Payout and field.

4) Favorite casino on the strip as a player, dealer, and just a normal person living in vegas.

5) Favorite place to eat?

6) Favorite poster/s on 2+2?

7) How old are you?

That's it for now....

I don't like to judge lack of sophistication as "dumb". I feel viewing it that way is destructive to one's game.

I've seen someone "bluff call" an all-in while holding 72o. If my reaction is to dismiss this as dumb, then I've soiled the opportunity to help reinforce this behavior.

The games in the biker clubhouse often had me rolling in the aisles. Just a great group of guys, plenty of beer, whiskey, and smoke, all good old friends.

They're rough and tumble and set things on fire and shoot big guns, but they still have the Bay Area ultra progressive mentality. For example...

A new player to the game is trying to play a joke where he asks dudes if they'd blow other dudes. This ramps up with money offers and celebrities until you get someone to consider it, then you call him a queer. All good fun.

So this guy opens with, "Would you give a blowjob to Brad Pitt?" expecting everybody to recoil in horror. Instead, he's greeted with, "Yeah, I love Brad Pitt, I don't need any money, it'd be a great story... He's a handsome man!"

The guy playing the joke had no idea what to do.

I think it's an industry run by con artists who are so good, they get their victims to defend them.

People got shouted down when they suggested people could cheat. Hello, Absolute. People got shouted down when they suggested people could steal. Hello, Ultimate Bet. People STILL got shouted down when they suggested people could steal. Hello, Full Tilt Poker.

And where are all the people guilty of these crimes? Sitting on their piles of ill-gotten gains.

Poker is a negative sum game. It's impossible for everybody to make money at it. Ever look at the record of rake? Ever notice that companies give rake back and still profit?

The soft player pool of online poker is long long gone. It will have to wait another generation. It will never be the same, due to all the books and resources now available.

That sheep has been thoroughly skinned.

I can't speak for the average American, but this question looks like it was written by a hoodie-wearing 22-year-old.

Long ago playing 3/6. I thought I had A3 for two pair. No, I had A2 for one pair. Still won the pot. I love low stakes fixed limit.

The gate had a latch on it. No lock, but there was a scary looking "beware of dog" sign. No dog.

The garage was a back unit of a house in a dense residential area. You couldn't see it from the street, and it required walking around a lot of stuff and tripping motion sensor lights to get through. Only the cute granola chicks next door knew what we were up to. Sometimes they brought us strawberries.

Parking was always full everywhere, so we didn't stand out. Many people took transit or rode bicycles.

The complete lack of security is partly why I didn't cultivate a higher stakes game.

Good question!

I heard about this game from Tworooks...

I drank the breast milk of another player's wife.

While dealing at a casino, I witnessed the mention, request, offer, sale, and transfer of marijuana. At the table.

While dealing a 30/60 table full of regulars plus a whale, I noticed the regulars would fold out of turn, basically telling each other that they weren't a factor that hand. I told 'em to knock it off.

I regret the error.

The last time I went through TNG was before I was into poker.

Butter can be made from whey, not the other way around.

One leg is both the same.

I thought this was a list you found in another thread. If you wrote them, I apologize for the rudeness.

I think it's helpful to remember that hardcore poker grinders are not the target audience for WSOP. I think this is a trap that snares many players. The broadcast isn't for you, at least not directly. It's for the people who make these big winners possible. Norm is the everyman.

Also, I find him funny. Some things get funnier through repetition due to how ridiculous they are.

Good answer!

What's the story behind the avatar? It has been some version of the kitty as long as I remember but I'm not exactly an old hand around here. Has it always been the kitty or were there others?
