Review:
The Chips were a huge success. I think we had the most money on the table we ever had -- even without my 7 buyins.

Chips felt great and everyone thought they were fantastic (especially compared to our original WPT Lottery Chips.

Chips are easy to shuffle and stack great. They don't topple very easy at all and are still very easy to shuffle. (I was easily shuffling stacks of 7 (14 total))

They sound good, despite the fact we were playing on my friends gross pleather topped table.

For the case, I was a bit worried after reading the reviews, but, @ 38 with racks, I decided to take the plunge and I was not disappointed. It is a little cheaper and I probably won't want to drop it, but, it fit the bill.

Total cost ~300 for 600 chips with the case. very happy!

They look great. As I've written before, I've played with this chips a few times. The colors contrast very well. I hope you enjoy these for years to come.

And your first game loss is totally expected. Probably couldn't help throwing in chips that you normally wouldn't have.

We've lost a few regulars here. Maybe because of the password issue 2+2 had a while back.

The new chip curse is inevitable - except when it's not.

Regarding dugthefish, I'm not sure. His last post was in August, but he was most recently logged in about a month ago. I wouldn't mind hearing from him either.

Veneratis are definitely good chips and, as eneely said, they'll last you a long while. At the end of the day, I still prefer the "clay" feel to the ceramic feel, but that's purely an aesthetic issue.

As for the new chip curse, I'm really hoping that doesn't hold out for my tournament set when my WSOP-C league starts up this Saturday. Of course, my tournament chips are a down-grade from my cash set, so maybe that'll off-set things. ;-)

The Verenati's were my second choice to the Pharoah's that I got last christmas. These pictures make me want to get some Verenati's also; they look really nice.

They look like the sort of chips James West and Artemus Gordon would use in their game on board their Secret Service caboose.

How did that breakdown of chips work for your game??

I'm looking at buying a set of these and I'm trying to figure out a good breakdown.

It seems like you have a lot of $5

For one table, I would have 100 .25s, 200 1s, and 200 5s. Maybe a 20 25s if my game played really big with a lot of rebuys.

So if anything, he overbought the quarter chips, imo. But some people like to pile on the quarters.

Yeah there are a lot of 5s but i wanyed.to be prepared for a rause in stakes.

Also wanted to be prepared fir a 2 table game.

The players in the game like a lot of chios and people usually use the 25c chips a lot, so buyins are:

12x25c
12x$1
Rest in 5s

Yeah me and my mates love piling up on chips so I think I'd go for the same setup as you, nddst.

Yes; I think others might have gotten a % off (check the dugthefish thread earlier) but I didn't.

Love the chips, though.
