In the face of this inescapable logic, I guess I have to reconsider my position. Especially since OP took your (presumed?) advice and did rat on the game and it

1) alerted the community to a dangerous, unfair, poorly-run, and degenerate gambling den
2) provided a valuable assist to important law-enforcement activity and most importantly,
3) made OP feel much better.

None of this has anything to do with what you wrote, but I understand why you feel so compelled to be defensive four months later about something so remarkably stupid that you said. I would be debilitatingly embarrassed.

The expectation of a logical justification of criticism is something you never see from people who write smart things. We don't owe you that, but even if we did, you have already displayed a glaring indication that you wouldn't understand it.

This is the problems you can run into with finding games on the net where you don't know anyone. Hard leasson learned. Stick to casino games when your on vacation

I would've done the same thing as OP, make a break for the door asap and get the hell outta Dogde. Then I would've called the POPO and had the POS arrested for assault. If the cops wanted to do something about the illegal card game, they could, but all I would report is an assault and I would show them right where to find Mr. Tilt.
