Cards, thoughts and preliminary photos of the RFID equipment/cards...
The cards are poker size. You can see in the last photo that the deck of RFID cards with one joker weigh 130g. In the first photo you can see that I've added a bridge-size deck of Cartamundi cards to the scale as well, and together they're 250g. Once you consider the poker/bridge differences, they're the same weight as the other cards.
I received a blue deck and a red deck. Thank jebus I didn't get two red decks, although having individual replacements would be nice - considering the cost of the decks. I suppose deck #3 can be repaired with cannibalized cards from deck one or two for a while if necessary. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
The deck is roughly 1/8th of an inch thicker than its counterpart. I still don't own a digital caliper, so I can't throw those sort of pictures up. I should have some professional dealer opinions on them Thursday, so I'll not elaborate too much.
In the photo above, you see 16 antennas, the control board from and center, cables, both decks of cards, and a Cartamundi deck from my own stock -- as well as some of the clutter in my living room. The boards are all custom-made for his company, from an Asian your-design-to-our-board company. These aren't off-the-shelf, although the antennas are fairly straightforward.

All of the wood was delivered today. I'm going to switch to the good camera and grab shots tonight. I should be able to stain the racetrack, as that's the a dependency on the timeline.
My artist is still working on my felt, so beta-testing the table will happen on Volara foam.
