I am in my 9th season running a poker league. It is a traveling league and normal each player hosts once a month. I had bought a table that folded in the middle but was just wasn't able to stand up.

Does anyone have any good suggestions to try? Maybe just a table top?

Are there ones that have removable legs?

Just trying to get some suggestions.

If one of our hosts doesn't have a dedicated poker table, our group organizer brings a thick blanket and something similar to a bed sheet. He uses bungee cords to tighten the blanket and sheet to a kitchen table.

This setup works really well to make a hard table into something easy to play poker on. If you need multiple tables, you could get some of those picnic tables that fold in half to use.

How many players do you normally have? It can be hard to get a portable table that can seat a lot of players. You might want to look into getting a rollout neoprene topper as they're very portable, but they have no rail which I'm not a big fan of since cards can just fly off the edge of the table when dealing.

How big is the vehicle it's being transported in? I bring one of my tables to poker games once in a while but I have a pickup truck so it makes it a lot easier to throw a 42"x84" poker table in the back with folding legs.

It is a 10 man group. I might start looking at some sort of mat.

We normally play on a conference type table but I would be nice to put some felt down of some sort.

I'd recommend a folding type table top. Check out http://www.pokergamingproducts.com/p...able-tops.html

I have ordered poker chips from them and they were easy to deal with. Shipped my order quick.

As the owner of a tri-fold table top, and having used a neoprene topper, my preference is the neoprene. The only advantage of the folding table top is the padded railing, and it's just ok. Other than that, if the table is large enough, the roll-out is better.

Roll out is the best.

I hate the plastic trays. They really get in the way.

I bought one of these, but added another thin layer of foam underneath it. I found without it, there was not enough cushioning. With the additional foam, I like it a lot.
