X-Posting from Open Thread some more pictures.

I suck at poker and got a very lucky turn/river.

Gawd, I keep flip-flopping between $20s and $25s for my custom cash set. Seeing these pics really makes me want the $20s.

A solid vote for $20's here, especially if your rebuys are usually in multiples of $20. Great for making change, too: a barrel of $1's = one $20.

+1. At first your group might ask, "why $20's?" but they will soon realize it makes good sense. Anyways, it's your custom set, and a non-standard denom is very custom.

And nice pots, OP. Looks like a juicy game.

yes the 20 over the 25 makes so much sense..

The real question is why the heck don't we do away with the $20 bill and make $25 bills?

(but yes, $20 chips ftw)

Figured I'd upload the most recent mock ups to this thread as I'm looking to add on a commemorative chip that celebrates the day my son, Brayden, was born.

Top left is my original. The spotting on most was my "final" one. Bottom left spot was a new J5 suggestion. I'm not sure of yet, but a cool idea. Both right inlays are a front to back design as I was thinking of maybe using two different designs. Although any could be front/back. One other thing is I will definitely be going with oversized 1 1/16" inlay on this chip. One other thing I'm also thinking about adding is "Ltd 100" to these chips since I'm only doing one rack.

Thoughts?

Judge edge spots with the side view in mind, if not the primary way to look at them. personally, I like the "most" look, but j5's is cool too. his might look better in a mixed stack n'with the primaries.

I have a pretty strong aversion to white lables. your existing white-on-black art is super sexy. all design's are nice, but I like the subtlety of top right or top center.

Top right for the inlay, because I like the subtle change from the original.

Bottom left for the spots because sexy. (What do you call that, 414A418?)

Also, please make 101 of these, because I know a guy who wants one.

Also, you probably need to change the name to "Piss'd N Broker" now.

New work from J5 based off my feedback to him. I'm still unsure of the spot combo. Just heard from David that the non split 414 is possible but being that it needs to be punched 3 times is a level 11. Ouch!

Top left on this is a for sure one side. The other three are possibilities for the other side. First glance is I'm leaning toward the top right.

Technically, Brayden is a limited edition of one, is he not?

I'm not going to be much help with the inlays because I like all of them in this iteration. Still preferring the bottom spot pattern because I think it will look better in stacks with your existing fives.

Lol. I like that, but he might be of 2 because he's like 99% me.

I think I've officially switched to the bottom spot though. I think it would be cleaner in stacks. I was also thinking that if I ever end up with a girl at some point that I could do a pink instead of the blue and it would also work well in stacks. Unlike the top spots where it wouldn't be as clean.

Good plan. If you have another boy, you could do that same spot pattern with light blue.

I like the bottom right inlay, because of the full date and the thin triangles. But I'm not sure of the need for "LTD 100."

No need really. I just always think it's cool when I get my hands on a limited edition chip and I always like knowing how many were made which is why I wanted to include it.

Okay, then maybe top right is best. Better to emphasize the date than the LTD 100.

But what about the full date on the top right chip? "July 27, 2014" If there's room right below the name.

I finally decided on the two top inlays and the bottom spot pattern.

Although writing out the date is nice, I prefer the style with the dots. Either way, I'd use the same style for front and back.

Top left and either right-side inlay, bottom spots.

Going to have J5 mock the top right up with the full date out and the correct spots to see which way I prefer. Not sure until I see it... I do like the suggestion to keep things uniform.

+1

(do you need the date on both sides?) <= forget I even said it. top right is great, either of the bottoms work. top left on one side. ship em.

150 chips ordered today from CPC. My wallet hurts on this order.

100 - commemorative $5 chips.
50 - $500 chips.

Breich and I needed more chips to meet the minimum so I created these for use specifically at the bachelor party as I figured I'd need more color up chips late into the evening.

Currently waiting on the final mockups from J5, but figured I would crop out the final versions of each chip from the last mockups to at least who you what the final I went with. Hoping you're good with that J5.... The new $500 chip I stole from a casino chip that is one of my all time favorites. I'll give the hint that the original is found in a 44mm. Can you figure out which one?
