Most Balla Home Game Poker table for about $1,000

I have seen this table online and it by far looks like the coolest poker table I have ever seen for under $2,000. Has anyone ever played on this table or does anyone own one and if so can you please give some feedback on it? Ok for some reason I cannot get a picture to work, sorry I am new here. Here is the link to the table though.

On most sites it is about $1,000-$1,200 but here it is cheaper(probably high shipping cost on this site)

Check out bbo or procaliber or rye park. Much more bang for your buck imo.

Yeah I have looked at all of them and they seem nice. I just really like the marble pedestals and marble race track. I kind of want to stay away from the folding legs.

Depending on where you are based, see what a custom builder can do for you - check out Slidey's thread for table porn!

Re: Most Balla Home Game Poker table for about $1,000

I don't know...it's not my style. And "marble finished" means a layer of plastic laminated on crappy wood, maybe particle board that would dissolve if water got under the laminate.

The cup holders look like they would hold a bottle or can, but not a larger cup or bottle. And only if they are deep enough. 4 inch deep means spills are likely.

I would need to know more about the construction for that much cash.

I bet you can get someone local to make a better table for that money. You would know just what you are getting, and can select the options you like.

Sorry to rain on your parade, Dude.

First, while racetrack tables look nice, they are a real pain to play on. Many people (myself included) prefer felt/cloth all the way to the rail.

Second...

^^^ I know several monkeys that are 100% reliable. Perhaps you need to be a bit more selective of the monkeys you allow into your circle of trust...

First, thank you Aidan for the shout out... Second, OP please do not buy this thing. Unless you really like stuff that is poor quality. If you're going to pop out a G for a good table (looks like this site is only $700ish?) you should just get someone who knows what they are doing and build you one. As previously noted, much more design input, higher quality material, etc. I mean does anyone really think the **** on this table is marble? As always, just my .02

I agree about the racetrack, but I think up close those legs would look cheesy and fake. You bump them and it would sound like a cheap bongo drum.

OP hand made is the way to go. Especially with the amount of money in your budget. Slidey makes some badass tables. Just view his posts there are lots of pics. I'm just saying if you can find someone even close to his skill level you will have a gorgeous table for a lifetime. Slidey do u ship if OP is interested ?
