right?! that's the first thing i thought too. i'm replicating my local casino's chips from memory to pass the time, as they use the decal'ed value chips with the inner rings...pretty damn awesome if you ask me.

i'm not really sure if they do, as they have that huge section on security and different products that you can buy to verify the chips aren't fakes...would be pretty awesome (and expensive) if they did though...

From my contact at Matsui America:

Minimum order is 500 per denomination/style/ design if it's less then this amount there's an additional cost added to the price of the chip.

Pricing depends if it's a 1, 2, 3, 4 color chip, the size of the chip, and the quantity.

On our website you will be able to download our chip catalog and find the different styles of chips we carry .

Who manufactured the Samurai poker chips? I thought it was Matsui. Those chips are awesome. I think they are no longer produced, though.

They were made by BCC, and they are no longer produced. I'm fairly sure that the link above is the only place they can still be purchased at retail, and when they're gone, they're gone.

CT does group buys all the time... there was a matsui GB just last year. unfortunately because they are so pricey, it's hard to get a group together in this economy.

if you are looking for tribute cheques, best contact ASM and they will make clay chips for you using a "similar" inlay. there may in fact already be a GB going on WSOP sets, there usually is every year.

Even BCC will still make you chips, but you need a BIG order before they will even consider it.

Got the chips the other day and they're beautiful. Got three traditionally sized chips and two oversized chips. Nice weight, feel, and sound on all.

I'm checking with my source to see if five was all they sent as there was a slit (made by a knife) in the USPS flat rate mailing envelope they used. I didn't notice the cut and the chips fell out when I was getting the package, but were in a plastic bag so no real harm. But if they sent more than five, someone in the USPS chain probably has the rest.

I don't know anything about taking and uploading pictures, but will find someone to do that so you can see the size difference between the three chips.
