Solid work, DA. I couldn't make out from OP who the chap sitting between Freddy Kreuger and Micheal Myers was till I saw the close-ups and realized it was Hannibal Lecter. Lol, he's still in a straight-jacket, how's he supposed to move his chips?

Re: Killer Table Build - almost complete.

Thanks guys- yep the suited light diffusers with rope or LED's behind are pretty popular nowadays with table builds....trying to install a dimmer switch on this table to control the brightness. I thought another good idea would be to make the table base have the side panel open and put a Bluetooth speaker in behind the suited speed cloth. Theyre wireless and can be controlled from iPhone or iPad - play iTunes or pandora. Seemed like a neat idea and B/T speakers can be bought for under $100. Just an idea. Maybe for next one.

Re: Killer Table Build - almost complete.

That is a cool idea. Makes me think of many other things that the legs of a table could be used for. A couple month back someone built in there poker timer into the table. It was just a touch screen monitor that was connected to a pc sitting on the ground. Would be sweet to be able to make one of the legs have a door on it and place the pc in there. It could just be one of those small table top dell cases that are meant to sit sideways under the monitor but could be place verticle for this case. Would be pretty sweet. Would just need to have a back panel that has holes in it with a couple pc fans to keep air flowing through.

Re: Killer Table Build - almost complete.

That is pretty awesome. I am not going to be able to have my own build anytime soon but when I do, I want to go all out like this. Go big or go home for sure. I love the leg design you did, and I def want to steal that idea. Along with the screens in the table and a shuffler mounted as well.

Hopefully we can see yours finished soon with that felt.

Re: Killer Table Build - almost complete.

The leg design is from Owens Poker Tables.....he mastered it and we just tried to emulate it. His tables are so sweet....he also builds shufflers in the tables and also had a few that raised and lowered via hydraulics. His site has some great pics and vids. He is definitely a couple levels up from our ability. I'm happy to relay what we did on the bases if anyone has questions...might make it easier for the next person. We just looked at a few pics and built the bases from scratch. It was by far the most challenging portion of the build but happy how it turned out.

Re: Killer Table Build - almost complete.

living up to it's name. Nice work, and aside from the horrifying graphics, aesthetics are outstanding!

Curious about one thing: Looks like you glued the felt to the foam before stretching either on the table. Is that normally how it's done? Seems like you open yourself to wrinkles if they stretch differently, but then again, I don't know how else you'd do it. Is the adhesive even necessary?
