GL. Personally, if I couldn't find the right sized racks, I would probably just get an aluminum chip case and some clear spacers. It wouldn't be as pretty, and it would take a bit more counting effort, but it would annoy me less.

That def an option. If the dremmel fails I'll either do that or keep.using rows of 19 which seems like its as much effort as dealing with big case and spacers.... I dunno.

Have you considered a custom wooden case? They might not be cheap, but custom cases / racks can be really nice. My 1,200 chip rack came from Oz woodworking.

Re: i have no one else to tell. (chip semi-brag)

Here is the chip case with my primary cash game chip set - mostly from the long gone Outpost Casino. Its crafted to fit 100 unwarped mint Paulson chips exactly. Really worn chips have lost 2 to 4 percent of thei thickness while warped new chips are about one percent thicker.

I got this second hand, so I can't say how easy it is to work with this guy. It seems most of his work is custom rather than stock so I would think he would be flexable. I understand that Sven has been recovering from surgery and not very responsive to customers of late. Patience might be needed.

I have these as well. Same problem as every rack I've tried.

Edit: I meant 24 to a row. Plus they won't fit a birdcage.

Re: i have no one else to tell. (chip semi-brag)

ok. gonna take a while and some patience. but it's going to work. finding the right bit was the key. started with grinding stone-style bit(orange in color). that one got really hot and melted the acrylic. it also wanted to grab and dig.

switched over to a tungsten carbide cutter-style bit (all one color, dark gray). it cuts much shallower and smoother. no rough edges and not so much gouge. my OCD may rest now. just gotta hunker down and do all ten racks. gonnna take 20-30 min per rack.

please ask any questions and i'll do my best to answer.

please get before and after photos! I promise not to mock your photography skills this time.

are you using some sort of jig to make it flat, or just eyeballing it?

I assume this makes one side cloudy, or are you doing both ends?

I can take after pics lol. Both sides are cloudy. For me, it was functionality not looks. They really don't look great. I was eyeballing them. But they hold all the bloody chips. I just put them all away, but will probably get them out again tomorrow and do some touch ups. Mrs rescued was tired of the dremmel in the house
