and... back on the 'skipping most of these' list... mondays are too tough to spend this much time for no reason...
It was good to see you there anyway, sir. I've been missing most of them myself lately, but it's been mainly due to a crazy work schedule that is finally slowing down.

I like the exposure to games that I don't normally get to play and the real-time interaction with other HPers (as limited as that is in the chat box). Points are fun, and you can still brag about the league standings that are automatically tracked by P*.

I'm #1! Eat it, suckers!!

(I need to brag as boisterously as I can now as I'm sure it won't last long)

Wish I could have made it last night. Ended up on a Sev1 outage until 4AM. And it had the added frustration of not being anything that was my team's fault when they finally found the issue.

Wheee!!!!

PLO scheduled for Monday night 6:30 west, 9:30 east. 10k stacks, so feel free to splash around a bit.

Re: Home Poker forum Pokerstars league -- season 5

I'm #2... :-(

Sorry about not being there for most if the game. my plan was to get to the airport ultra early, check in, go through security, and play the game while waiting for the plane. However, upon arriving at the airport ultra early, I found that the check in desk for my airline didn't even open until an hour after the game started thereby foiling my plans. Then I had trouble finding an internet lounge outside the security area and was late for the game anyway and then had to leave to go check in and was blinded out by the time I got back. All in all 6th and 4th are respectable finishes for not even playing most of the game though :-)

I might have done better if Palimax hadn't taken a huge part of my stack in our boat vs boat confrontation!

The joys of PLO, where boat over boat is much more likely. I had one of those where I turned the boat and Pocket_Keith rivered a better one.

I had fun, though. It was much easier to two table on my desktop instead of my laptop and watch the live stream of the WPT Hard Rock Showdown at the same time.

And congrats to Palindrome for getting heads up at both tables.

I ran hot as the sun at the end. It was tough to play heads up on two tables. Actually, I have a hard time playing two tables all the time. I don't know how the online guys do it.

It was fun playing last night!

To be honest, I had to look at the chat log for our last hand to figure out how I'd won. ;-)
