Ok, I'm sorry I said you were a troll, LiveDonk.
I was wrong. You've obviously spent years and years running home poker games, and were goodly enough to come and share your expertise with us novicies. Thanks for coming to 2+2, educating us, and teaching us, among other things...
...proper poker grammer:

Not defending the angle here...just getting technical.

...What "all-in" means:

Then there's this sticky-worthy gem. So much new, useful information! How no one ever thought of this before is beyond me.

START by STARTING a meetup.com poker group for your area. This is huge.
Also start a FB group and use sites like homepokertour.com and homepokergames.com
Next, craiglist ads every few days.
(Make sure you VET every player you meet online. A successful method I use is to require every player to register with my meetup.com group, answer several questions, and POST A PHOTOGRAPH OF THEMSELVES....this part is HUGE).
Finally just get out and start PLAYING POKER. Network as much as possible. Develop a unique angle that will generate interest...such as "I'm starting a WSOP Tournament Leauge" instead of "I'm hosting a weekly tournament."
Also, BUILD YOUR OWN TABLE. Its relatively easy and fun and can be a great way to attract interest. "I just finished building my first table and I cant wait to host a game!" is a great way to generate some interest.

I can't wait to see some strat posts; maybe you can teach us how to
play poker, as well! Perhaps a milestone post is in order...
