HELP with pub game structure

Hi all.

going to start up a monthly game in the local pub for about 15 regulars, but struggling with the structure a little.....

need it to finish after 12 levels max really - so think main aim is to remove 1 level.

I know i could just take out the first level, but really want it in as gives the game a nice slow start and lets everyone dabble in pots. I've ran similar before and it works well.

don't want people knocked out too early - it's around the middle section I want to speed it up a little really.

anyway.....here is where I'm at. any thoughts much appreciated!

15 players.
25,000 starting stack.
375,000 total chips in play.

Re: HELP with pub game structure

I think you also need to consider chip values and qty's into your equation. With your proposed structure there is only one level which a T25/T50 chip would be required and the T100 chips are needed through level 7. You will need a lot of T100 chips. For a pub game your dealers are going to be spending a lot of time making change and counting chips.

This structure starts slow to allow a lot of play at the beginning and only requires 4 chip values 100/500/1000/5000

Re: HELP with pub game structure

Mix in a couple breaks too. Even 5 to 10 while you chip up.
