Re: Custom ASM Chips

Love seeing the latest pics, JZ. Fantastic set! The blue $1 seriously rocks, and the double stacks are impressive.

ASM did a nice job on the commem chip. Looking forward to adding one to my collection.

Re: Custom ASM Chips

Soooo yeah I just realized that I never posted pictures of the car that inspired the chips. Those that were out to HPI got to see my baby in person.

Re: Custom ASM Chips

1" inlay 44mm chip is available so finally after over a year and a half of waiting I can finally get my $100 chip ordered. I'm working with Sallie right now to order a rack of these babies that will be level 5 spots. As you can see my design changed from the beginning, but overall I'm really glad I waited and am hoping to have these before ASM makes the move to Las Vegas.

Do what I did during HPI - I had the only $20 chip on the limit table because I bought it.

Meh. Still a little butthurt that I missed HPI =/ but yes, the $20 chip is awesome also. I remember jz breaking them out one game because there were so many rebuys all the $1s were gone (before he got the addon batch of chips).

IIRC, we did manage to get all the $1 chips on the table at one point.

All 1200 of them. The game last week had a whole barrel of $20 chips on the table. Very drool worthy. Jeff posted some pictures on CT.

Damn! I'm sure PLO contributed to that one

EDIT - and now that I've seen those pictures on CT I really wish I played all day...

Ooh, so sorry to hear about this. Technical difficulties with the 44mms?

Yeah something like that. Basically offered the choice between solid 1" inlays now, 7/8" inlays with spots in a year or a refund. Not great choices IMO. I sent Michael another email because something we talked about didn't click till after I hung up, so we shall see how that goes. I really don't think this is going to happen though which is really friggin sad after waiting all this time.

Re: Custom ASM Chips

Have you considered just printing them on the regular sized chip, if the 44mm absolutely cannot go for a 1" inlay? A ****ty compromise but at least its something.
