Re: Can I bring my glock to a home game?

Use it as a card protecter, but the first time you put it on your cards make an 'Oops face' and reach out and put the safety on...

Or when its sitting on your cards and your waiting to see if someone calls your all-in just slightly turn it so it points to him/her...

Obvious Glock newbie.

They don't have a safety you can put on.

Re: Can I bring my glock to a home game?

Wow... bring up guns and/or carrying a gun and all the anti-american spewing shall insue. Grow up already. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I have no problem discussing issues and soaking in everyones opinon but to insult an entire country just because you dont agree with one issue is ridiculous. I know America has its problems, thats not news, but keep your "i dont live in america, and where i live is way better. Hence, that makes me better." to yourself.

Bring your gun only if the host is aware and ok with it. That is for everyones safety because im a gun owner/carrier and if i hosted a game and noticed you were carrying, i would ask you about it in private but only with the muzzle of my pistol pointed at your face.

I dont carry to other peoples games, never felt the need or desire to. not that its wrong, i just dont.

Re: Can I bring my glock to a home game?

In the last couple of weeks I have had 2 seperate players in my game (that I trust.....otherwise they wouldn't be in my home) pull me aside and ask about their own weapons. They both carry at all times, but asked at the beginning of the night thier first time at my game. I told them I didn't have a problem with it..... Everyone at my game knows 3 people in my household alone are armed.

If someone showed up carrying and I was not asked.... Then I wold probably have a serious issue with the lack of respect.

ok seriously – what do you need a gun for when you are playing at a homegame?

Re: Can I bring my glock to a home game?

At a home game in Georgia, they ALL had conceal licenses. I just assumed they were all packing. Kept the game nice and friendly. The game's host had lots of guns all around the house, so I figured everyone else carried theirs to the game to "keep it even."

Seriously, if you want to take it with you, talk to the host of the game first and see if he/she is okay with it.

Re: Can I bring my glock to a home game?

so as another invited player to a home game (I'm not the host), do I have the right to know if y'all are carrying?

I'm sure going to want to know where to stand if the game ever does get robbed!
