Re: Bizarre River bluff at home game, thoughts plz

I think it's great. I also enjoy the gamble. This is a game, after all. It should be fun!

Wow, you should of folded preflop. Hitting a ace on the flop with a useless kicker= your going to lose money

BB raises. What is your ruling about:

a) What to do with the semi-exposed first card (SEC) of the flop?

b) What action(s) can the dealer take, if no one else has seen the SEC yet?

And I want YOUR ruling. Quoting RRoP is pointless- we can all look up standard casino rules ourselves.
You mean like this inconsistency?

MUHAHAHAHAHAHA

The real lesson to learn here is to always raise those donkbets until someone gives you a reason not to. I have only seen a donkbet for value like once in my life. It's otherwise always some dumb**** hand thats trying to "find out where I'm at". Just auto-raise all donkbets without even thinking about it. When players start jamming or snap calling, then adjust.

Low limit no limit is no limit played for low limits. Low stakes if you prefer. Yes, it could also stand to be better written, but the intent is clear. "10/20 limit" is less clear. Larry was generally helpful and supportive in the thread, your mockery is unwarranted.

Define low limit for me. Low stakes to you might be low stakes to someone else.

Inconsistency in both the posts, so the criticism is warranted. How can you fail to see the irony here? If you're going to criticize someone, make sure you don't make the same mistake. I was sticking up for the OP.

And for LL not being mocking, "lazy typing" seems to fit the bill, which he was guilty of as well when he typed "low-limit NL hold'em".
