Playing 1-2 live, nine handed. We are half way through the session - a lively session with big winners and losers. Things are normal, way too much aggression with one pair hand and the chips are flowing.
Cast of Characters:
BB is the perfect calling station with $125 on a $500 buy in. Hates to fold, very sticky, very passive.
Hero is UTG with $300 on a $750 buy in. Bad, bad night to be Hero. Aces cracked, draws missing, bad luck, no doubt bad play.
MP is a tricky trappy calling station with $300 on a $60 buy in. Maybe he isn't the best guy at the table most nights but this session is going well. He believes in good mojo.
Button is our old friend the Alpha Male, playing $900 on a $300 buy in. Alpha sees himself as THE top male at the table and is willing to fight anyone with his chips to prove it. This is a money losing LAG but he doesn't think so . . . . he keeps "records".
The hand:
Hero starts with A
A
(oh noes!) and opens for $16. Table norm is $8 to $12 right now but hero wants less action and lower SPRs. MP, Alpha Male and BB call. Four way action $65 in the pot.
Flop:
K
6

BB checks, action on Hero. Bet or check, if betting how much and why?
