10 game mix Home Game

hey all,
just did a structure for a 10 game cash game..

tell me what you think, and if anything should/needs to be changed.
obviously i am only refering to the blinds for the NL/PL games, and the stud game setup.

NL HE/PLO/2-7 Draw played at 25c/50c

HE/Omaha8/2-7TD/Badugi $2/$4 with blinds of $1/$2

Stud/razz/Stud8 25c ante. 75c bring in. complete $2. played at $2/$4

What do I think? I wish your game was near me so I could come play, that's what I think...

I would cap the buy-in unless you want people to go broke quickly in the big bet rounds. Probably $100 max

LOL, fly out to Melbourne for some 2/4 action.

we need more players. we have a group of guys we play with, but only some are comfortable playing these games. other prefer only to play NL he/PLO and some other flop games..

and for the buyin, our 25c/50c is normally a $50 buy in. this game would probably be at least $100 - $150.

Re: 10 game mix Home Game

Our home game plays 25/50c in the big bet games and then .5/1 in the limit games. Yours seems too big for the limit side of things if you plan on making it a 100$ max. We play .25 ante from the btn in stud games.

No ante for the no limit holdem or single draw?

Limit looks a bit big compared to the big bet games to me. Stars does it where the big blind for NL/PL is a quarter of a big bet (say 0.25/0.50 NL/PL and 1/2 limit). Full Tilt used to do 1 fifth, so 0.20/0.40 and 1/2. I preferred Full Tilt's way.

You want an average pot to be about the same whatever the game is imo.

We have a Home Game Listings subforum, folks. Look for games there or contact xdan via PM if you're interested in his game - not in this thread, please.

I think you need to include plo8. This year's plo8 at the WSOP was the highest entrant non Holdem event.

Definitely this. I've started using the frog in boiling water analogy for PLO8 vs NLHE. A shove is like dropping the frog in boiling water. The pot limit structure is like slowly turning up the heat, and people will suddenly find themselves going "I just called how much?!?!"

Great game, but you don't want to break the game as a whole.

I guess thats true, but PLO has to have almost the same affect right?
