I think I know some of the people that run these games.

You should play in these games anyways. The hosts . Rake more than they are supposed to and put people in these games to cheat collude and go south

Your probably looking at a min of 6 months in the county lock up...more if you priors. You can't grind the local $1-$2 and think you are going to get away scott free...get your affairs in order....

If you know 3-4 of the other players in that game, it might be cost effective to chip in for a lawyer to represent all of you together. Obviously, do not do that with the guys who actually ran the game.

so i got a lawyer and as of right now its not going to go on my record or anything

basically paid to keep a clean record

..even though its only a gambling misdemeanor.. like wtf...
