Listened to some of Ed's music, it really is terrible.

What do you guys think about these lines? The difference between Jon and Danny seems off to me, and I'm about to throw some $$$ on Sansa at 15:1 to be on the throne by end of S7.

If you can't look past the actor being famous for other things then that's a you problem.

Like if Daniel Radcliffe is in some movie and you're thinking "why is Harry Potter doing this?" then it's your problem for thinking of him as Harry Potter as opposed to the character he is playing.
Imagine that they cast Shaq as The Mountain. You can see his face but he has no lines. There is no distracting bad acting. Would you still say the same thing, adjusted below?

Sean Bean is very well known, even having just played another long haired sword welding fantasy character, and yet at no point was I distracted by the fact that he was the guy who played Boromir.

If Ed Shereen was a eunich IRL and played Cersei's handmaiden instead of being a non-eunich playing a male foot soldier, would his 7 second diddy have been more or less enjoyable? Discuss.

If I played Tyrion, would anyone believe the line "The dwarf lives, until we find a cock merchant"

Shifty leader guy is going to force himself on her or recognize her or something, she's going to kill him and take his face.

I do not think so. $10 prop?

Booked -- my side is that Arya doesn't kill Sheeran or any of his crew, and your side is that she does. For ten bucks, I don't think we need an ump but if for some reason we need one I'm fine with the resident GoT expert: bluegrassplayer.

Is "shifty leader guy" the guy who gives her the rabbit or "girls take care of their poppers" dude?

edit: Oh wow look at that, I'm clarifying the bet as I get made ump.

The guy she handed the rabbit to.

Last word on the Shareen non-sense

I think the main reason some people got so upset is that he's not an actor so having him there felt more gimmicky and forced than an actual actor. Like when had it been Daniel Ratcliff (as someone mentioned) you would notice it but since he's an actor it wouldn't have been as weird.

However people are still pretty ridiculous as his part was small, his performance was fine and this type of thing happens.

I remember Lenny Kravitz randomly having a part in the Hunger Games and David Bowie played freaking Nikola Tesla in a movie (and a good movie at that), despite looking absolutely nothing like him.

Exactly how I see it. I even used the Bowie as Tesla example earlier when talking about Sheeren.

david bowie is actually an actor tho?

Yeah, I made the bet broader to clear that ambiguity.

Bowie had a part all the way back in Dune, which was a horrible movie.

This is what I wrote. That's actually not right as I'd seen him in zoolander but close enough.

I'm glad that dib gets to read this twice.

Seems like you gave up a bit of equity by including any of that crew but yeah that makes it pretty clear. I really hope that if something does happen the guy says "come to poppers" or its ed sharen who does it.

I'll remember to bump this post after next episode.

My guess with Arya is she will leave them all alive and trot down to somewhere around Riverrun find Ilyn Payne (since he was last known to be around that area during the siege I think) and cross him of her list.
07-20-2017 , 04:42 AM
It seems pretty unlikely Arya will kill them. If she does, it will be because there's some revelation of something they are guilty of. Arya is a bit of a psycho these days, but she's not flat out evil, and killing those soldiers would be evil. If anyone is going to make a heel turn it will be Sansa.
