Pretty much, yeah

To be fair the idea was planted in my mind before I rewatched the first couple of seasons, or else it's not obvious. And the idea was probably planted by some bookreader.

that "something is up" about jon's parents has been made obvious right from the start(when jon left for the wall ned assured him that he will tell him the truth when they meet).
has been hinted at that his mother is "special" multiple times over the seasons and Ned doinking another woman was always COMPLETELY against his character so Jon being from someone else altogether always was in the air and rhaegar + lyanna the theory which made the most sense.

I like how everyone is saying it's been 'so obvious' that Jon isn't Ned's son. Back in S1 and when those hints were being dropped they went right over everyone's head. I don't recall anyone saying much of anything about who Jon really was until after season 2.

Lots of revisionists itt.

i think doggz was one of the first ones and people were wondering if you were a bookreader and should be banned
06-30-2016 , 04:01 PM
lol the good days when we couldn't theorize because if you were correct about something in the books you'd get banned for spoiling. I just got lucky enough to speculate something that wasn't talked about in the books LUL

It's still not clear if Jon is Legitimate, or if him being half Targ even matters in any real way. I suppose it obviously does but it's up in the air as to why it will matter.

probably because most people with a brain avoided internet discussions due to far too high spoiler risk

Yes people were always quick to throw accusations around, desperate to have something to moan about.

To be more specific, the wedding night, Tyrion asks her age.

mrtrebus might forgive but he never forgets

I didn't say he was forgiven.

He also quoted you in the same post because you said Arya was 11

Not a book reader but the casting seems amazing to me with the obvious exception of Dany.

Danny has her moments. The only one I don't much like is Aidan Gillen as Littlefinger. He just doesn't do it for me for some reason.

God I wanted so much for Aidan to be casted as Doctor Strange

Brienne casting is soooo perfect. The oberyn casting was amazing imo, doubt anyone else on the planet could be Tyrion, cersei and Jaime are amazing. Trying to think of a bad casting and it's tough.

The Tyrion being a targ theory is very book heavy and has to do with physical features (hair and eye color) and that his mother died in childbirth, along with some other little tidbits including tywins line "you are no son of mine". Tyrions book response to the comment is inf more satisfying than the show

Tywin: You shot me.
Tyrion: You always were quick to grasp a situation, my lord, that must be why you’re the Hand of the King.
Tywin: You ... you are no ... no son of mine.
Tyrion: Now that’s where you’re wrong, Father. Why, I believe I’m you writ small. Do me a kindness now, and die quickly. I have a ship to catch.

My biggest qualm is the Jaime/cersei relationship with honorable mention to how sansa's story played out.

All of you non book readers would be doing yourself a favor to read them. I had never been much into reading but I am now directly because I read these books. People say book 4 and 5 are terrible etc, but personally book 4 might be my fave, albeit after a second read. You can start on book 2 really, book 1 and season 1 are pretty damn spot on. show Has long since passed the books and has changed inf, so I hope this post doesn't spoil/offend any non readers. Snobby book reader signing off

The resemblance is uncanny.

Yeah I thought they made it ambiguous whether Sansa was cool with that. The stakes rose a bit since the "no really, you should have Mom and Dad's room" scene.

I must suck at watching TV because I never questioned Ned being Jon's father. After last season when the show went past the books and i figured i couldnt be spoiled I watched some videos on youtube about theories and my mind was blown with how much i missed.

Watching finale for 3rd time right now, 10 mins in. Score so good.

Where is the king? 5 yr old stabby stabby

The only bad casting that comes first to mind is new Daario < old Daario. Old Daario was legit. New Daario is lame AF.
07-01-2016 , 02:36 AM
Feel like people hated old Dario at the time
07-01-2016 , 05:30 AM
I wonder what role the blonde dude-lady will have going forward. Has to be something significant after rowing away.
07-01-2016 , 05:40 AM
New Dario was so beta in that scene where Dany discards him, good riddance. He's gonna wear an apron while he tends to Meereen housekeeping.
