He was hedging with the Boltons, I guess. I don't quite know what it accomplished either.

How did giving a supposed kingslaying fugitive curry favor with the lannisters tho?

what a terrible post, it was a tremendously satisfying scene, "unnecessary" is easily one of the last adjectives i'd use to describe it

part of what makes this show special is the duality of characters in how they show good and bad sides. that scene took a character who is commonly and rightfully despised/villified by the viewers (who i've also kinda hated) and made me understand, empathize, and relate to her. i was rooting for her and feeling totally on her side, sorry but that's amazing writing.

He told Cercei he discovered where she is - in Winterfell with the Boltons. She promised him Warden of the North title if he could bring her to Cercei.

O wow, haha I'm a pretty avid watcher and I missed that, when was it?

I think his original plan was to see the Boltons and Lannisters battle, severely weakening both. But that didn't happen, so he had to alter his plans.

Ok found it

Shortly after he gave Sansa to Ramsey. While still in Winterfell he received a raven from the Vale that Cercei called upon him to come to KL, so he went. So early/mid season 5?

Oh, right. I forgot this happened. Wait, when did it?

Nevermind. Lol, no idea how I didn't remember that scene.

Haha me neither

I'm guessing the story has to end with everyone South of the wall rallying against the night king and his army. Instead of guessing the villain I think it will be interesting to see who is still around and what role they'll have in the final battle.

Sam obviously will have a large role, but the other tertiary characters like bronn and pod and brienne. Is bran going to warg into a dragon? Will hot pie feed the troops with his sick stark breads?

13ish hours left to wrap it up, I think from here on out most episodes will be bigguns

The answer is no. No normal human being is going wait 2+ years for a measly 200 bet to settle. Clovis is a straight up troll that just want to annoy you for 2+ years. I can't even, this fool is unreal.

I bet he doesn't even watch GOT. I mean how can anyone claim to have a "critical brain" to anaylze cinema (LMAO) but forgets who the birds are (whom were featured in this season no less). He prowls from thread to thread in OOTV and tards them up. Just ignore this buffoon.

I'm the troll but you won't bet. Interesting.

Put me on ignore and I will do same. Let us never ever communicate again. Everyone will be better off.

Could Varys have been involved in Cersei's plot to blow up the sept? He left Mureen before the explosion to gather allies, and showed up in Dorne using Cersei's action as a reason to recruit the Tyrells. He could have done it on the fly, but it was pretty convenient for him the way things played out.
06-28-2016 , 08:54 PM
I don't think that makes sense. Cersei would have Varys executed, no way they plotted anything together.
06-28-2016 , 08:58 PM
Prediction.

Danys fleet gets destroyed in a storm, spanish armada style.

This prevents her from being massively over powered throughout the final episodes and gives her some adversity to triumph over.

yeah, and you forgot Ygritte , Brienne, and even the wildlings had a strong female leader.

Mel has no other group that will take her in, storng possibiliyt.

I think a Hound vs. Mountain showdown is inevitable, but I don't htink the Hound is like actively seeking him out, it's something that will sorta happen.

I still don't see Arya continuing on her hit list quest after she hears about Jon and Sansa taking back Winterfell, at least not immediately. I would think her priority would be to get home and see her family. I only assume she went to the Twins because news of Winterfell hasn't proliferated yet. She may resume it at some point, her meeting up again with the Hound at some point is almost a lock.

Cersei could go about a dozen ways that all seem credible. Jaime could kill her, Tyrion could, Dany could, Arya could, the Sand Snakes, the Tyrells, etc.
06-28-2016 , 09:48 PM
cersei very positive character
06-28-2016 , 10:53 PM
Random character continuity I just discovered...

In season one when Tyrion is "confessing" his crimes to Lady Arryn, she cuts him off as he is saying "I once brought a jackass and a honeycomb into a brothel...". A few weeks ago when he is telling jokes with Grey Worm and Missandei, the masters' attack cuts him off as he is telling his next joke - "I once walked into a brothel with a honeycomb and a jackass..."

As pointless and annoying many found that scene, it was a great callback to season one that got unnoticed.

Just watched s3 e4 and Jamie mentions the mad king placing caches of wildfire under the Sept in the bath scene with Brienne. Very good scene and great for the callback for this last episode

Exactly. He killed the mad king to prevent the very atrocity that Cersie just committed.
