It looks like Arya will be heading to Bravos to become an assasin. Is there any hope that she will find her dancing partner there? If not they better give us Jaqen back.

Getting more and more pumped.

Top 10 favorite scenes..

10. "By the end, she had so much silver it was slipping through her fingers"
Even with Shae in this scene, it's still a masterclass.
Spoiler:

9. "But Willam, he was a nice looking boy"
Wish we could have had more Yoren
Spoiler:

8. "I can't even remember what she looked like"
Not many mention this scene, but some great acting here. No show delivers exposition and background in such an interesting way.
Spoiler:

7. "You're Arya Stark"
This is probably the 3rd best fight scene I've ever seen and it's not even the best of the season.
Spoiler:

6. "My real father lost his head at King's Landing"
I remember being glad when my favorite flawed character OAT came to his senses. In this show, however, that doesn't mean redemption.
Spoiler:

5. "I've been on trial my whole life"
Think I actually fist pumped during this scene.
Spoiler:

4. "All the ******* chickens"
Take any aspect of this scene and it's better than just about anything else on television. Writing, choreogaphy, acting, cinematography. Unfolds with incredible tension that doesn't break even with the humor.
Spoiler:

3. "Ah, there's women in the ground"
I realized here this was my favorite show.
Spoiler:

2. "I feel I've been remiss in my duties"
It's really the whole episode here because they really did such a good job with Frey that I thought he wasn't hiding anything. When the door closed I stood up.
Spoiler:

1. "Today is not the day I die"
I have watched this a few times since and I still get a knot in my stomach. I keep waiting for the end to change.

Even though I'm firmly in the if "an important character seems to die off screen he is probably not dead" camp, I still think he's dead. He wasn't that important of a character and by the sounds it really seemed like he died. It's not a The Mountain situation where we have an important character just left behind (The Mountain is 99% alive imo).

I don't think we'll see Jaqen back either but that's just a random guess. I would love to see him back but I also would like it to be with the original actor and that seems unlikely.

Not sure if spoilers are needed because this seemed pretty clear by the end of s4.

I could see Jaqen coming back for a sort of cameo, and Arya doesn't recognize him, and he says "A man has many faces, maybe you'll remember this one." And shazaam, he morphs into the Jaqen we know and love.

I'm rewatching my way through Season 3 and I had forgotten just how damn good this season starts off. I mean, all of GoT is great, but the way it handles these fairly slow episodes is what makes it so great. Not every episode is the climax and that is why I love GoT.

Do you guys want a new season 5 thread?
04-06-2015 , 06:41 AM
This thread has lived since the beginning, no need to start anew now.
04-06-2015 , 02:17 PM
ya might as well keep the original thread
04-06-2015 , 06:09 PM
I'm fine either way.

However, this thread was started 2/27/14. It's basically a season 4 thread.

Watched the last few episodes of season 4 to get back into the swing of things and remind myself where things left off, meant to go back and watch more but just never found the time.

There obviously will be some big OMG moments and deaths this season, but I have no idea who.

The following is my pure speculation regarding potential deaths, I put them into probability tiers. It's just speculation on my part but I'm putting it in spoilers anyway in case nobody wants to see such speculation.

Spoiler:
Tier 1 - Almost unkillable, seems like these people absolutely cannot die as they are just far too vital to the current storylines

Daenerys
Jon
Tyrion
Arya
Brann

Tier 2 - Would be majorly surprised if any of these characters died, however they are not quite as "vital" as the ones listed above but their deaths would still be very shocking. Given there's almost always a shocking death, somebody below very well might not make it.

Littlefinger
Cersei
Jaime
Stannis
Sansa

Tier 3 - More likely than 2, less likely than 4

Theon
Margeary
Tommen
Missandei

Tier 4 - Seems like a safe bet that one or more of the below are going bye-bye, I mean it's Game of Thrones and Valar Morghulis.

Roose
Ramsey
Jorah
Brienne
Olenna
Loras
Frey
Davos
Grey Worm
Yara
Sam
Mance
